O.K. I have to say something here. I'm not a psychologist but have done a lot of reading in that field. Usually, men who have to have the attention of lots of women got too much attention from Mama in their formative years -- or not enough attention from her. Works either way, and I sure we can all figure out why it would make a guy be that way. In his case, I daresay it was too much attention
See that's what makes me question what REALLY is going on between Meryl and Maks. Why isn't she with him?? I guess she has business in LA....otherwise I think I would be disappointed in them if she is just in LA to do the bucket challenge and hang out with the girls. I don't know....they don't seem to be making any time for each other. I'm pretty much getting over it.

Same...I gotta start LOL I'll continue to speculate and everything BUT I just am starting to not by whatever they are trying to sell me. Is it just friendship as Meryl said in the interview....but why is Maks so glowing and loving all the time about her and it's our relationship we gave you enough now it's ours in private...I'm looking forward to a new season to start then we'll have new things to talk about and maybe even a new more normal couple to ship!!!!! lololol

Well, to be honest, I hate this picture with a passon. Him putting himself out there surronded by all these women does make him look like a player. I just dont like the image that this puts out. It wouldn't be so bad if there were other guys in the picture too, but just him.....with all of the girls....I just DO NOT LIKE IT.......meryl friends or not with them.
Luv, I'm with you 100% and starting to think, as some people do, that he is not good enough for Meryl. Can't imagine her doing something like this. Makes him look like a pimp!
See, I don't really feel like that. We don't know anything yet. Meryl could have turned him down...said she just wants to be friends. If the case, which I have never been 100% convinced that she is/was as into him as he was/is to her, then he can take pictures with whomever he wants.
I don't know lol whatever it is, they are BOTH choosing to do anything and everything that isn't with each other. So to me that is telling. If it is a case of it's summer with busy schedules, OK, but if they don't start doing stuff together soon, then I don't see how we can keep saying they are together and "engaged to be married." I mean, they have the means that they can fly and see each other, granted probably not every weekend....but more than once in June and a breakfast in August. That's just my opinion.

If Meryl were to appear at the Hawaii show tonight, during the Q&A Maks could introduce her as his girlfriend and say, "Yes, we are dating." I wonder what the reaction would be. Probably literally bring down the rafters, so to speak, a prolonged standing ovation of yelling and cheering!! My imagination is running wild again!!
LOL........and Volcano's erupting everywhere because of the heat those two would stir up.
There actually is an active volcano in Hawaii, but it isn't erupting at this time -- they never know when it will blow again. It may be on the big island, Hawaii, but I think they are on Oahu.
Annie we were on Oahu 2 years ago when the volcano on the big island was active and the "vog" (volcanic fog) they call it was intense at times. But the island is beautiful we weren't on the rainy side...

My daughter has the radio on in the backyard sunning herself.........just heard All of Me, Latch, So Close and Boom Clap....all in a row!! Seriously, are the NY dj's shippers, too?? Hope everyone is having a great day!! Guess we're still waiting on Meryl's ice bucket challenge??
Cassidy...yet another thing we have in common...my daughter also like to sun in the backyard, that is when the sun is shining in VA, which is random lately!!!

but meryl does seem to be in contact with all of them and seems ok soooooo......i don't know ....guess we'll just have to wait and see....it's been a wierd day in Maksyl Land......Yeah...I mean Jenna is the one that is practically laying on top of him in the picture and she is Meryl's BFF....SO either nothing is going on with Meryl and they are friends hence I can take a picture with the ladies - or there is soemthing going on and Jenna was a part of making it happen and they sent it to Meryl for a laugh? lolol
ok carrie i like your theory about sending it to Meryl for a laugh....and i could see the two of them (Maks and Jenna) after a day spent partying and drinking thinking it would be a good laugh esp if they have been in touch with Meryl and she knew what they were doing...LOL...just think it's going to cause a lot of sm trouble again for him......

I agree with the comments as to why this pic is not a good idea. However, that being said, this is the kind of thing that happens when something feeds on itself when a bunch of young people get goofing around and are trying to top each other's challenges!!! I can see how it has escalated today--just look at the tweets and challenges. Not good for image purposes if you might be considered as a playboy because it just "plays" into it but watchers like all of us and others do not know context or dynamics between or among the "players". We make a lot of assumptions. Such is the nature of the SM age. But this stuff goes on in lots of group settings where the "players" know each other well; I've chaperoned enough band and ball team trips--and just because they are all young adults (some older than others!) doesn't mean they shouldn't or won't get sucked into being a part of the process.
I get that it may not be viewed as a wise thing for Maks to do; otoh, why shouldn't he be able to be a kid sometimes?? He isn't their chaperone or parent--even though he could almost be for some of them.
Not really defending him--so please don't throw darts!! But I do understand how this sort of thing can get out of hand without anyone realizing it.....and for now at least, Maks IS still single!!!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

I agree with you, Carrie. They haven't even been together enough to know if they want to pursue a relationship.
