Yeah i love the way she put this to that song ....it gives it an old hollywood kind of feel...and it's funny you said that about looking like them dancing at their wedding...the tumblrs call the original vid of this dance "the wedding dance" lol

I read a direct quote from Maks at the beginning of Season 18 where he said that he is shyer than people think and is not always out chasing girls. Peta approached him and probably Karina too. Someone introduced him to Kate Upton, and they began to have trouble even the first month. They "dated" for about six months. I wonder why he said he was dating all these women but won't come out with it with Meryl.

Hi Annie, Maks actually denied he was dating Upton before he finally admitted it shortly before they broke up.  Same thing with Peta.  In fact, I came across a video on youtube where the announcer was saying they weren't even sure the two had been dating because they kept it under wraps.  I have no idea about Karina, but I do remember hearing that she supposedly led Maks to believe she was pregnant with his baby.  Don't know if that's true, though.
 

 
Popping back in for a few minutes....

I had heard about Maks being shy with women (i.e. not making the first move) and also about the possible pregnancy thing with Karina. However, I think that their engagement broke up when she was cheating on him with a baseball player. Never saw much about KU except it didn't last long either.

I hope MnM are not coming out about their relationship because they just want to be sure of their relationship and are both sufficiently committed to going forward (despite all the nonsense that Hollywood brings at them) so that when there is news from them, it is real and ends up in marriage rather than another broken engagement. I kinda think that may be why they are cautious now--in addition to Meryl's need to maintain a positive image in the skating/Olympic world. Also, MnM have only known each other 6 mos., which is still a very short tim. Personally, I think in 12-18 mos. after meeting as they did they should be walking down the aisle. No point dragging it out longer because of the connection they have and the intensity of going through daily life together for the first 3 mos. Just my never to be humble opinion--on someone else's life, no less!! LOL
