HAHA There are a couple hours of what he has said in the 4 parter...and it is all Maks talking about Meryl and their relationship from every media source on earth that he talked with!! I'm sure the memories play over and over in his head--the intimate moments together both then and now--and his priorities are centered, probably, on getting things sorted with Meryl so they can be together again. At least that is what I'm hoping!!!! He knew he was moving on after season 18 from the time he signed on. He just never envisioned it would end up as it did.....I really don't think he thought it was possible until Meryl walked into his life and he knew that they had a chance..... It was meant to be!!!

well said Jet...and that comment he made about how he would feel like he cheated on her if he danced with someone else on DWTS  well thats very telling....LOL

 
Oh--for sure. He is definitely ready to move on--and let's face it, better for him to say adios than being dissed like Sharna was.....and it would have happened anyway, I think. It's always good to figure out when to depart gracefully. We don't want him to cheat on Meryl either!! Just get together with her this week!!!!!!! SOMEWHERE!!!

LOL...and we want them to start rehearsals for SWDOI early too!!!!LOL

DWTS had to know that Maks is their biggest draw, and they are probably mad that he didn't want to dance again. He would have pulled in the viewers like crazy! So, they are going to punish him! I just wonder what he is thinking if he watched the emmys and what Meryl thought. She would be more upset that they didn't show him than over not showing her.

 

 
I am pretty sure you are right on that.  But she's philosophical and has been around subjective judging all her life so she knows how it doesn't really mean that much.  Certainly not as a single event.  It is what you gain from the experience that matters--and that is what makes you who you are.  It's not the wins and losses--except for the biggies like the Olympic gold medal and the MBT this time.  The rest is pretty much meaningless fluff, imo.

Me too april....hopefully if they start rehearsing together that spark will come back and maybe they can act on it this time....

Could not have expressed it better myself...he was taken from the first time they danced....another season would never compare to this one for him...

And he said he didn't want to compare it with anything else either.  Smart man.....he knows when something is so special he just wants to stop there and allow himself to relive it as that most special thing that it is and always will be.  I have great respect for him in living his values.
