Thanks again for bringing these over! I was finally able to watch them, albeit with lots of stops and starts, this morning. What I wanted to see was what Maks was saying when he put his hand on her hands folded in her lap. And I was rewarded! That's the point where he said he was uncomfortable talking about himself (he didn't really seem like it), that this was her win. I think she said "It's all you" like she did when they won. But really that whole interview was all about Maks, and she seemed to love it. You didn't even get a glimmer of any dissatisfaction in her eyes about them focusing on him instead of her. IMHO, that's love!

she seemed to want the focus to be about his journey through out the whole season ....and he kept saying it was all about her and her journey

Val said it best when he talked about "her selfless effort" to get him to know what it felt like to win. I think Val keeps Maks focused. Both of them are pretty introspective.

I agree with you tango...I guess I find it hard to understand, but yet do understand in a way why and how two people that I personally feel are right for each other and with all the little indications between the two of them from at least Week 3 of DWTS most likely feel the same way...can and do keep such a distance in public, is it fear of the unknown because both of their lives are on totally different paths than they have ever know (Meryl not competing, Charlie getting married, their Ice Dance future kinda up in the air, college...and Maks not competing on DWTS, trying a new career, acting, changing management companies, new dance studios and both not getting any younger)...Is it all of that, could it be the commitments that Meryl has, she must keep a low profile as far as who she associates with and confirm all her doings with her management and PR people...especially with all the rumors that swirl around Maks every day...I just feel that somewhere deep inside both of them they want to express how they feel...(Maks as basically said that and Meryl has never actually denied it) to the world...If anything is a true sign of how they feel one only needs to watch them when the camera is not just on them but even when they are really not on camera...that should tell you!!!

hey just wondering....does anyone know about the DWTS contracts??? i remember hearing somewhere...don't remember where...back about midway through the season when people were really starting to talk about the MNM chemistry that someone said that there was a clause that said as long as they were connected to their current season that the pro's were not allowed to date the stars....well if that is true it could explain some of it...James and Peta could date openly because their connection to season 18 ended after the finale, but as reigning champs MNM's connection to season 18 won't end until the finale of season 19 when the new champs are crowned....so wouldn't be allowed to date yet...at least not publically......what do you guys think??????

Entirely possible, April!!! If that is the case, can we just skip season 19??!!! HAHA And personally I think they may have broken that clause of the contract long ago!! LOL

DWTS is very, very secretive about the contracts. For instance, the only way we have to know how much the stars are paid is because when Shawn Johnson was on the show, she was minor (and I assume for Zendaya as well), and her contract had to be made public. I don't think anyone knows for sure even about the pros. It would surprise me greatly if there was a no dating clause. It seems to be rather common knowledge (or at least commonly believed) that a lot of the couples over the years have slept together and/or even dated. There was a DWM video where I believe it was Maks told someone that there was no dating your teacher. However, that was DWM, not DWTS, and I saw as somewhat tongue in cheek.
LOL..yeah i saw that No Dating Your Teacher video too...it was hilarious!!LOL they had that girl so flustered!! and yeah it was more tongue in cheek....and i agree about it being commonly known that several of them have hooked up over the years...don't remember where i had heard that at...but kind of was wondering if it was one of those things where...ummm...the rules is there but kind of we don't care what your really doing just don't acknowlege it type of thing....do you know if the other couples that hooked up acknowledged it during their seasons or just claimed to be friends until their season ended??

It is more likely be something with the skating or Olympic people, don't you think? Not that you cannot date, but perhaps what you do in public??? Seems too restrictive even so.

I'm so excited for Monday.   On man crush Monday, I am hoping to drag my husband to see the Irish singers that I love.   He doesn't know it yet. I'm going to bribe him first with a movie he wants to see, and then say we have to do something I want to do.   Thanks to repeated Meet & Greets, the singers both know me by real and screen names.   They are almost halfway through a 50+ city tour of the U.S. and Canada, and I have tickets to 12!! shows .   Monday will be #4.   Wish me luck!
