There IS a DWM show going on Sept. 13 and 20 in the same theater where Sway was performed (I keep saying this but I never see it added): No idea whether Maks will be there but I would think he would at least be around to show support for his students, who will be performing.[/quote888]

I laughed when I read that last nite....because I was raised in NM on the Rio Grande--and all I could hear was the mariachi band blaring away!!!! LOL Know nothing about the dancing to any music thing. Maybe tango knows?? Or you could ask Maks or Val!! LOL

hey just wondering....does anyone know about the DWTS contracts??? i remember hearing somewhere...don't remember where...back about midway through the season when people were really starting to talk about the MNM chemistry that someone said that there was a clause that said as long as they were connected to their current season that the pro's were not allowed to date the stars....well if that is true it could explain some of it...James and Peta could date openly because their connection to season 18 ended after the finale, but as reigning champs MNM's connection to season 18 won't end until the finale of season 19 when the new champs are crowned....so wouldn't be allowed to date yet...at least not publically......what do you guys think??????

Entirely possible, April!!! If that is the case, can we just skip season 19??!!! HAHA And personally I think they may have broken that clause of the contract long ago!! LOL

oh i think if it exists it's kind of like one of those "don't ask don't tell" things....kind of like this is the rule but as long as you don't openly acknowlege it we don't care what you do...LOL....if thats the case though we may see more of a public acknowlegement once the new winners are crowned!!

It is more likely be something with the skating or Olympic people, don't you think? Not that you cannot date, but perhaps what you do in public??? Seems too restrictive even so.

did you read the article Cek posted the link to a few pages back about raising elite athletes...Meryl's mom was interviewed...if you go to pag 2 of the interview there's a section done on an interview with Meryl's mom...it's short but very interesting and some of the things she said about Meryl make some of this make a bit more sense

Should be plenty of time for MnM togetherness between and among those appearances!! LOL Not nearly as rigorous as our Maksology class schedule!!! LOL
