    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

    So you think they would just keep that under wraps till the season starts????? Maybe.... but they made such a big deal about the announcement that you would think they'd reveal that rather than take the hate mail?? Maybe not since they wanted to kiss up to JH......idk

     I would love to see Maks take Lens position when he retires...it would be hard to keep under wraps...

    And remember, it was said that when Len retires, Bruno will also retire. Len lives in the UK someplace (England?), and Bruno lives in Italy? (Is that right.) I think they fly over together every week.

    I don't think he wants to be a spectacle or distraction from Meryl when the focus should be on her and Charlie--and the skating world. He could get criticized for being there and sucking the oxygen out of the rink or he could feel out of place himself considering their current status. I know he traveled with the tour and watched them perform, but now it is different since the show is over. I think it's about political correctness for the skating world more than anything. She would probably love for him to be with her, but too much gossip and speculation about their behavior wouldn't be good for her.

    See the group in San Diego about twice a month; the ones up north probably 4-6 times a year--either we go there or they come home for holidays and/or summer. They are both teachers up there so get time off. Son is an engineer so he has to arrange his vacation time differently. We were all on the vacation trip to NM a few weeks ago--which was wonderful! We try to do a family reunion trip somewhere with my family at least ever other year. We've had 2 in a row now, both great.

    aww... that's great glad you had some family time....family is so important  ....and making that effort to see each other is so worth it

    hmmmm...could be... i just think that those three little words "as a dancer" that they tack on to the end of things kinda has to mean something ....i mean otherwise why not leave it at Maks won't be back like they did before????

    It certainly does leave the door open to something, and if he weren't coming back in any capacity, seems they would just say he isn't coming back, period. I agree with you.
