I will be glad to send the sun in your directon CEK. We have had over 100 degrees for the last 5 days. I will take the clouds and rain over that.

We have a nice marine layer today with a cool breeze. There has to be SOME redeeming quality to life in SoCAl!! LOL Weather is rapidly becoming the only one.
Where Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz is from. LOL
I would think that living in SoCA would be great because of the weather. Do you live near the coast where you can get to the beach? or are you more in land?

That was Casper, sitting with her? I looked, but thought the guy wasn't as good-looking as Casper even though he is no winner in the looks department. Also, he looked older, but the photo was from a strange angle. I'm glad it was Casper!! JLo didn't look all that great either.
I think Casper was in front of her and the older guy was beside her...
I'll take another look.

Oh--now I remember--Wizard of Oz!!
Weather is definitely a plus here. We are a straight 8 miles north of the coast just east of the Long Beach "bend" so get prevailing winds from the west and also from the southwest. Any further inland--even just a few miles--either north or east is a definite increase in temps due to lack of winds and diurnal heating. Fortunate also because we get cooling in the p.m. Close to perfect most of the time. Can't really complain about that aspect. Just desperately need RAIN!!
