Morning everyone,  Been lurking some and I think I need to set somethings straight.  I did not jump over board.  I felt like I was going to get kicked off the ship because I was making comments about not understanding why/what Maks is doing.  I don't feel like he is doing anything "really" wrong, I just don't understand him or the choices he makes.   It is like what some others have done, they stepped away because of the negativity or the uncertainly right now, and I stepped away, because I felt like I couldn't say anything without offending others.  I try to be respectful in my opinions, but I was becoming afraid that because we don't all have the same opinion we were driving each other away.  That is last thing I would want to do.  I believe that we should all be able to say what we feel, good or bad, but felt like we were starting "to take sides", which is not good.  I love different opinions and welcome them.  They often "talk me off of the ledge" so to speak, but when people feel like they need to leave because they don't feel "good" about what is going on, that makes me sad.  I am kind of rambling on this morning, and I don't know if what I am saying makes sense, but that is why I stepped away last night.

Now, on to something "fun"........

Ladies, while I was lurking, something strange and wonderful happened.  A jet few in and landed in my yard, 4 kids and their dog jumped out and ran towards me saying that they solved the mystery on where I had disappeared to.....they dragged me onto the jet and flew me back here to this wonderful ship.........I appreciate you not throwing me overboard, instead all of you wonderful people sent out a search party for me......Luv you all.

Oh, and I don't believe Meryl or Maks are goons........it is US that are a bunch of GOONIES. LOL

Yay luv...I was hoping you would be here today...
First let me tell you that we would never never never throw you out of Maksyl World...we need you you are our baker and my co-poster of all things tumblr and who would Val jump in to rescue when you are "drowning" LOL  but most of all because...

You can post away and we dont have to agree with you or we can agree with you...that is why we are such a good "sisterhood"...
So here...this is for you...

LOL......loved that CEK.......while I was watching ......all I could see was Charlie and his Happy dance. LOL

I really wish he would give up the idea of acting.  From what I have heard, he isn't very good and it is a little late to be getting into that field especially, if you want to be successful and make lots of money.  Also, I don't believe that being "hollywood" is going to give him the dream that he wants in regard to a family.  Very few actors have good long lasting marriages.  Sure, there are exceptions, but I just don't think him being an actor is a good thing.  I am almost postitive that certain types of people would like to avoid that lifestyle at all costs.   I say, stick to what your know and what you have.  He could go far with his dance studios as well as his other projects.

I totally agree with that, Luv. I have a friend (in the biz, as they say), and she says it is getting harder than ever.

One of the reasons that it is harder for celebrities to have great marriages is because "it is like living in a fish bowl in very hot water." That came from a celebrity -- forgot who.

At first, I didn't see your question, CEK, so I'll answer it now. Although I believe it is never too late to have a new goal or new dream, I don't really see Maks succeeding in the acting world. First, he will have to fight against being typecast in everything as a dancer. When you get typecast, it really limits you. Also, he has done some acting already but has been citicized as not being very good. Not that he couldn't learn, but I think a lot of acting is instinctive. Also, the actors who have successful family lives often don't live in L.A. and they stay away from the wild night life that many celebs get locked into. I somehow can't see Maks living a "dull" life at home, but he is getting older and might be ready to settle down a little. The problem is that I think he may think that being "out and about" at parties and such will help him to make connections, etc. I'm not sure that really helps. My favorite example of an actor with a "normal" home life is Meryl Streep who has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Yale in acting methods (or something like that). She and her husband (Don Gummer, a sculptor) live somewhere in New England and have raised four children there.  I will now STOP rambling on.

Well, Kirstie Alley says he is a good actor.... that must mean something, doesn't it?  Sad though that we won't see him dance in season 19....  and typical Lizzie post....

I wouldn't put too much stock in anything Kirstie says. When she made that statement, they were "good friends" but no longer are. I think she just said that to curry favor with him at the time.
