I can''t imagine how he must feels...

I'm sure it involves a lot of soul searching. He's been with a lot of women over the years--and quite a few live in relationships but they've all gone "poof". I think he is a bit A.D.D. with that stuff so if boredom sets in it's over. So he didn't have the chemistry with any of the others with the possible exception of Karina.

I tend to agree with you in regards to Karina...I do believe that breakup really effected him emotionally and if he had a bit of insecurity prior to it that probably make it worse...the ADD is a possibility...my daughter and son are both ADD (I probably am too) and when they are not on their meds they are different people...they just have the attention part not hyper...

Well...I see Maks as being somewhat a type A personality--Meryl also probably--so I think that he needs a woman who will maintain his interest by being interesting to him.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.  Yes, it would be nice, but I think that would rock the house too much and take too much away from the new season--even IF there was not bad blood between him and dwts. It would be nice to see MnM together there but....I'm with Luv on this.

ok if  he's not there and she dances who do you think she'll dance with???

I don't expect her to dance.  I am betting that the camera pans to her (she is sitting in the audience)......she is on 2 seconds.....and that is IT.......

You are probably right about that luv!!!

I think you are right, Luv; I think they both may have kinda taken a break to figure out what was lastingly "real" and what might have been a showmance of sorts. He wasn't long with Erin, tho--and never had anything close with her to what he has/had with Meryl. I know he recognized that as well based on what he has said. I'm sure his head has been swimming....and that's a good thing, really. I know he won't want to get into another engagement that might fall apart. That would be too hurtful and cause him to distrust himself. So these months that have seemed like years (!) LOL.....have been very important, I"m sure. We are just impatient!!!

LOL.  That we are.   However, I really believe that if their "relationship" is going to last, it is good for them to take things slow.  They have already had a lot to deal with in such a short amount of time.  Rumors, distance, schedules., break ups (fed-ex).....ect.  I think it is wise to "get your head on straight" so to speak before heading into something that must have been a shock to them.  It was a whirlwind couple of months with feelings so strong that they even came across the TV.....lol.   Finding out what those feelings really were (for them) may have taken some time..........even if the whole world could see it. LOL

I agree that allowing some time to think it all over and try to resolve intellect vs. emotion is healthy. Meryl has never failed at anything in her life, so I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want this to fail if they go forward with it. Maks has not failed at marriage since he's never been there so he doesn't fully understand the level of commitment involved--but most people don't. However, he has the right person this time to be able to weather life's storms with. I've said before that I believe they both needed to decompress for a while to sort things out. Maybe they both are about ready to acknowledge what they have on a personal level and let it flourish. Must be difficult being somewhat in the public eye--certainly since Season 18--and having so many business and contractual things to try to mesh together as well. It is on many more levels than it would be for two people just leaving college or in their first "real" job, etc.

I hope they feel strongly enough to give it a chance and take the risk--with the understanding that they will be able to work everything through with honor and dignity toward each other and every situation.

Guess we shall see!

Well said.

Completely NOT worth it--but it is amazing how many young people only want FAME as their end game.  So over rated and superficial--and chasing a dream.

So yesterday we had Meryl tweet the perfume ad--"love at first sight"; then we had Maks at the rabbi getting balance between his emotions and his intellect (which sometimes we question!! LOL). Today we have a song that talks about not wanting to fall in love and a tweet of flowers from Meryl with a note about keeping the sunshine in front of you so shadows will always be at your back.

Do we think that any of this indicates they will give us a crumb or two about being together this week coming??

LOL...well if ALL of those are a coincidence, that is alot of them....what are the chances of that????

Too bad one of us couldn't be there Monday night. If we didn't see Maks in the ballroom, we could look around outside behind bushes and peek into parked cars to see if he were hiding out. Why do we think he wouldn't be there -- mad at the DWTS people? If he and Meryl were there and just walked aroung the perimeter of the room to geto to their seats by the judges, there would probably be a standing ovation. Then the judges would stand up and want to hug them (yes, even Julianne).

Yeah, right, Annie!!  They would suck the oxygen out of the room--and then think of what the rumors would be like the next morning!!  All they would talk about on GMA!!!  LOL

Crazy is mild for some of the things I have seen her do!!!
