I think things are going well with Janel and Val.  My inclination is to let things (Season 20 and the Special) play out and see what is revealed.  They are quietly and semi-sectretly making time for each other where they can imo.  A few hints evident to those of us who have been following for months now.  But best to keep it on the q.t.

I want to be happy about this, but I can't be until I see a smiling pic of the THREE of them.  It bothers me a little that she tweeted this right after Val and Rumer had their worst night on the show.  Still no sign of support for team ValenRue.  Don't know how this will play out.....wish I didn't care, lol.  xoxoxoxo

We see it differently, Cassidy.  That's all.  I see Janel as the one rebuffed.  She tweeted her support the first day it was announced.  She was quoted in that interview as of course, supporting them. 

No acknowledgement from Rumer.  And Rumer unfollowed her.  I don't know where things stand, but after the Season hopefully  - relationships will be restored.
 

I'm going to post this here...I think it's Val related.  And I'm trying to ascertain if Janel posted it at the time the Howard Stern show aired.  Wouldn't surprise me.

Janel's good friend, the make-up artist, SamAltamura, is from the Napa Valley... I have see tweets of hers about heading home to there now and then through these months.

She and Janel are up very early this morning and headed to Napa for the weekend.  Doesn't seem that Janel has been there before - it is quite a long drive.  Janel had a performance as Juliet last night at FTR: Baz .

Val not on SM at all since his little rant about the negativity post Howard Stern interview.  

I agree with some others  - if this Season 20 comes to an end (during which you can understand the lack of opportunity to "date") and there is still nothing more publicly open between Val and Janel then I do give up on the ship.  And with the tour starting up so soon after...and Sway in there in June....not holding my breath.   But certainly by then...maybe better relations all around.
