It's been a while since I've added anything here.  No excellent news = no posting.

But night out with the girls last night after PLL shooting all day for Janel.

She has become welcome and well known to Warwick's it seems.  Cheryl Burke's ex boyfriend runs it and Janel seems to have been given some sort of framed document from them.





She's good to tweet pictures of herself, friends, surroundings  - - but the night ended with a warning to young fans, or should I say a declaration about friendship.

Well, well.  Apparently one of the 55,000 some odd "likes"  is our very own Val.   Probably good advice, though not so fun for us as all the sub-tweeting.

Have to share this...I've been waiting.  The video and song for the movie, "Concerto" that Janel stars in has come out...just a few minutes ago.

I’m going to add a couple of things back here on this thread about Janelskiy. 

She  - a rising star imo.  She continues to have her “day job” as an actress, and a very good one, on Pretty Little Liars.  But she also has a movie coming out which she stars in…”Concerto”. 

She has released 3 singles since DWTS and another (according to the producer) will be released next week.

These are songs that she has co-written and co-produced.  And sings.

Last night was her premiere performance at the Rockwell Table and Stage…a venue similar to FTR, I guess, in that people buy tickets for a meal, drinks, and then enjoy a performance.  This is the marvelous musical version of “Cruel Intentions”  (original movie – not musical - starred Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Geller..as Kathryn – Janel’s part…and Selma Blair)

Janel can “belt out a song” make no mistake…and yet has the mellowest quality to her voice.  There have been very few “leaks” of last night’s show, but I did find one.

And now….to her new boyfriend.  Justin Altamura from Napa.  He is her friend, Samantha Altamura’s cousin.  He has played in a band with a couple of his chums for years. He is listed as a realtor in Napa.   But let’s not sell him short.  The Altamuras have a vineyard…and website.

And what’s more, Justin loves Janel.  He’s not afraid to say it, be seen with her, speak up for her, show up for her.  And I love him for it.

Val:  Val is being Val, doing Val.  Very busy with DWTS  - the Perfect 10 Tour - Sway of course.  And for the foreseeable future it will remain the same.  Wash, rinse, and repeat.
I’ve only ever heard of him having one kind of serious, publicly known girlfriend… a couple of years ago. Probably before he became a pro, not sure.  I wonder if he thinks his fan base would be smaller if he were in a relationship.  I don’t think it would…look at Allison, Tony, and now Peta.    Maybe having won the MBT will take some pressure off, and allow him to think about his personal life more, and the future.
