The reveal party was awesome!!  My daughter's friend baked a beautiful cake that said "Twinkle, twinkle little star, How we wonder what you are?"  My daughter, son-in-law, and grandson put their hands together and cut into the cake.....revealing that the cake was, indeed, blue!!!  My grandson pumped his little fist in the air, and my daughter and son-in-law both teared up and hugged....it was such a magical moment!!

I went into this party all old school, thinking you should wait to find out the gender.  I am now on board with this idea.....it was so much fun!!

That is soooo cool, Cassidy.  Sounds like my niece's reveal party...but hers was pink!!!  Hope you have a lot of fun decorating the nursery.  I helped do that for my daughter's first 2...now that they are on #3, the baby inherited one of those rooms--and the other two bunk together in the other!!!  They have a 4th bedroom but are keeping it open for the occasional guest for the time being.

This was a fabulous interview with Meryl!!  She looked VERY comfortable, MnM are "life long friends"--without elaborating or feeling embarrassed by the question about being in touch with Maks.....she was smooth, always a engaging and articulate, and comfortably mature in her own skin, I thot.  She has come to terms with her relationship with her man and knows she doesn't have to deny it now.  YEA!!!!!

Sam Rubin, the guy who did most of the talking can be quite a jerk.  So glad he was respectful of Meryl.  Interesting comment he made at the end about learning about respect from her!!

Glamour: It’s really cute. Fans can’t get enough of you two. Since it has been a year since you and Maks first met, how has your relationship evolved, specifically after you guys won the mirrorball trophy?

Meryl: We obviously became incredibly close during the show and sort of coming away from that experience where we were no longer spending every day together, it was interesting to sort of to continue to grow our friendship in a different capacity. I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we’ve gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.

I think this is just as.honest as Meryl has ever been publicly about her feelings toward Maks.  You don't say you have a life long friendship if you haven't talked about how to do that and feel that committed to one another.  He said a while back, "We fell in love our way."  She calls it lifelong friends for public consumption but we all know it is much more.  I went back and retread C.S. Lewis's " The Four Loves" and reading the chapter on Eros last nite had MnM written all through it.  I will leave the rest of that to the experts and in the hand of God.
