Meryl, well I am hoping that this person she is dating is as special as she is. IMO she deserves the best and whoever he is will appreciate her for her many qualities. She is caring, giving, generous, thoughtful and considerate not to mention business savvy and accomplished in the sports world as well. Who wouldn't want her? She is a diamond.
Am I sad that it turned out the way it did? Maybe not surprised is more like it. I always questioned so many things that occurred after season 18 was finished. Either way, it's over and they have each found others who make them happy. The only thing that sticks in my mind is the way Meryl looked at him every time she was with him. I interpreted it as love on her part, I think he has always loved her but only as a friend. They will be "lifelong" friends so that is something.
It will be interesting to see if/when Meryl comes out to LA....and what develops there.
I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

I just stopped in to give you the latest update on ABC DWTS MB. Canadians are now banned from voting. This is what they are saying when you email them.
"Hi ABC Viewer, I see that you are located in Canada and would like to sign in to vote.Voting for Dancing with the Stars is only available if you're accessing the site from within the US or Its territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands), and Bermuda. We advise that you continue to check back as we may expand to your area in the future."
What a crock after being an avid viewer for the full 10 years. Oh well the voice is a good alternative.
Hi, HRM....sorry I missed you. I think that the new phone system is messed up--as may be the email system, apparently!! In previous years the phone system was able to count the number of times you dialed from any phone number and then not accept any beyond that. This time it just said that only 12 votes would be counted from each number. I didn't count how many times I redialed the number, but I am certain it was well over 12!!! I'm sure all phone systems should be able keep track of the number of calls in this day and age!! 
Unless, of course, they are going backwards for some reason!!
Hope you will be able to vote in the near future.

HRM....hello there, glad you dropped in. That is terrible that you are no longer able to vote. I know there is also sign in problems. I tried to sign in several times and the site kept saying there was an issue and to please try again later. It is really a mess voting wise. Not good at all.
Hope you drop in here more often now that the season has started.
I believe the sign in issues are due to the change to block the Canadians. they were asking for the Americans to confirm their email addy's and nothing for the Canadians. That's when several of us wrote to them and got the reply above.
I'm finished with watching the show now. I know it's juvenile but I refuse to be a part of their ratings. I will miss the dancing but so be it. I'm extremely insulted with the action they have taken.

They go by the IP address and that I can't change to American numbers. I find the whole thing really sad.

Sorry I missed you also. As I said in my other post. The email is messed up because they want all the Americans to confirms their email addys. I assume that's so they don't ban any U.S. citizens when they are blocking the Canadians. I did notice they changed the phone number this season so maybe they haven't got it set up properly yet. Oh well nothing I can do about it cept move on.

By the way, I had to re-register on abc.com in order to vote Monday. I heard somewhere that they have fine tuned the system, trying to reduce fraudulent voting. Whatever.

I see the board was a bit busy last night.
HRM that is so not right...not being able to vote if you are in Canada...hopefully soon.
