    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

    ok so I read about Vals comment and his apology and I don't think he meant anything bad by it .....and well (in my opinion only) we have heard  way  worse things  said in other seasons about other couples....and I believe Val when he said what he said was taken out of context......tptb are good at that.....and it was probably taken out of context purposely to amp up the drama.......I don't hold it against him and Rumer at all    ......and I do like Nastia and Derek.......actually .....this season I like all of the finalists.......lol
