and did a little research...they are right.
Season 17 14.6 million viewers
Season 18 (Maks, Meryl, Charlie, Amy etc.) Finale 15.7 million viewers
Season 19 (Val and Janel, Alfonso, Sadie) 16 million
Season 20 13.49
