Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

Hope you caught that.  Rumer will be dancing on the whole tour.

Has anyone watched Cheryl's new show?  I haven't but I'm interested to know what you think of it.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

I have found out from a couple of different articles that Rumer will be dancing and singing with the Tour in 25 of the cities.   The first 7 - and then not the next few.  Then in Las Vegas and the west coast 8 cities following.  Then not the next 10 or so.  And then joins the end of the tour for the last 9 cities.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

Hi guys   well it was a busy couple of days here not bad just busy and last night we had storms and the power kept blinking in and out......so I haven't gotten to check in for a couple of days......we spent ALL day at the Dr. today.....she got 2 different kinds of chemo and then her blood counts came back low again so she had to have another blood transfusion and a platelete transfusion and in order to do that they had to give her benedryl first because of the hives she broke out in during her transfusion fri......so it was a loooooooooong day at the Dr.....not a bad one but a long one.......but she has the next 2 days with no doctors appointments so I am hoping to be here more the next couple of days catching up and chatting and having fun     for now though it's been a long day and I'm really tired so I'm gonna call it a night

hope all the sisters and all the loved ones we are praying for are doing well......I will catch up more tomorrow.....goodnight everyone (((hugs)))

Again, I wrote a post, went to fetch a picture...and came back to find it gone.  I know it's my own doing, but it's frustrating.

To each his own....in regards to the tattoo.  If she loves it, that's all that matters.   I LOVE your onsie comparison, gabriele, for the abstract rendition of Val.  And personally I like the contrast of him in abstract, her realistic.
But then it needs to be realistic...

If that is her right arm, raised up, body slightly arched back - - -what is her boob doing hanging down around the bottom of her rib cage?  Even my many decades older breasts would not be found there in that position. Somethings are just off through the torso.

I say this as an artist, not judging her reasons for getting it done.

I'm with you there, view.  It looks distorted.  Skin isn't like stretched canvas; it is a thin membrane covering moving weight.  Beats me why people (Rumer....?) think it could be a suitable 'medium' for a photo-realistic image..... I wouldn't expect anything other than the result falling short.  The shading on the thighs works really well, but then the arm......   Not sure what went wrong there.  One of my fellow art college students had a stocking seam tattooed down the back of her legs.  It looked wonky as soon as she stood up - the middle is different laying down and standing up.  Illustrates the point that it is work on moving parts....

Look.  It's the crazy way he interpreted the dress, the side of it, the strap.  Even with my meager skills with the snipping tool I think this looks better.

Too bad they are so permanent.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

Hey!  I finally got on while someone else is here!!!  *Waving*

How is everyone tonite??

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
