Hi everyone,
Haven't been on too much but wanted to stop in and see whats gping on.  Can't say I enjoy the pictures of p and Maks, she looks so desperate and he looks kind of half hearted, whats up with that?  Meryl looks happy no matter where she is or what she is doing.  I think she was born under a lucky star.
Knee getting better and am now looking forward to the DWTS show on Monday night. I am praying that p is not there as I have no desire to see her.
AC just being fixed today and not a minute too soon.  At first we were told it the compressor died and it would cost $1700.00 to fix it. Fine, just do it but of course they had to order the compessor and today is the day that it was to have been fixed.   Funny though, it has been working, although sporadically.  That tells me that the compressor may not be the problem otherwise it would not work at all.
So today another tech came out and determined that it wasn't the compressor (duh) but some sort of valve that is the problem, by the way the cost to replace the valve is $800.00 or half of what the other guy quoted.
Other than that, life had been plodding along.
April, I am praying for your daughter and the mass will shrink even more.
Casssidy and View, hope those in your life are doing well too.

Hi Luv....what is tumblr saying is wrong with the picture?  I am really intrigued.

Let us just say that tumblrs have noticed how "very" happy Maks seems to be dancing with Meryl again.. Cameras and lighting can play funny tricks but the angle is unfortunate. I did not notice this live myself because, unlike some, I was focused on their faces.

I found their connection in their dances to be just as stunning as I expected. I don't think it has changed, and I think they can express this on a dance things that they maybe can't in RL.

From the evidence I have seen, I think MnM love each o other dearly and are drawn to each other like magnets. For whatever reason they are not now together. They may eventually get together. They may not. But they vdo seem committed to dancing together. And that is still magic.

For some reason at the Friday show, I was really emotional after the rumba remembering the original ending as compared to this where she walks away from him. I felt better after the paso when they were smiling at each other. Then I got teary at curtain call when she and Rumer came out together. All the way to m&g, I kept repeating to myself "its all about Maks" which it is for me and was the reason I was there and will be back in Miami.

Thnaks Tango for your take on the picture.  Personally, I didn't think that he would "get happy" on stage, after all, he is no teenager. LOL  However, what I am pleased to hear is that they still have that connection and magic that we all fell in love with when they dance.   I would love to have seen them live.  Glad to "know" someone who has.

I saw their two dances on tumblr and even though the quality of the videos wasn't the best and were taken from a distance, you could still see how stunning they were, especially in the rumba.  When they danced their paso/tango dance, I just loved how the crowd erupted in cheers as soon as the tempo in the music changed.  It gave me chills and made me wish I was there.

I am watching too.....did you see that 96 year old.....I mean "young" women dance? WOW!!!!

To be able to move like that at her age.....I just love this show....so much talent and its great tv......lol

Okay, just had to post..LOL. back to the show.

Yes, she was amazing.  I also loved the magician.  And how about those two acrobats from Ukraine...they were insane and exciting to watch!!  So many good acts tonight!  This show is the only one hubby and I watch together because we usually have different tastes in tv shows but this one we both love.  We look forward to it every year.

Hi Booky !!  AGT has been fantatic this year.  I loved all of the acts, especially those that you mentioned.  The Ulkraine acrobats were GREAT as well as the magician.  I LOVE seeing tricks that I have no idea how they are done. LOL  Can't wait till next week.......lots of "danger" acts.  Will be exciting.

I checked out "Cheryl Burke's" show after AGT.  It is entertaining/good, but not must see TV.  I was surprised that she was a contestent.  I thought she was suppose to be the host. LOL  I think she is in the "lead" for the most "liked" acts.

I tried watching Cheryl's show a couple of weeks ago and just couldn't get into it.  Maybe I'll give it another shot next week, and this time watch it all the way through.

Hi, sisters  : ))
Just a quick lurk to see what I’ve missed over the last couple of days.
I’m done gathering up a few personal belongings and junk from the little lake home we’ve sold.  Husband is continuing to comb through the garage for tools and stuff he wants to keep.
She (new owner/wife) has an artistic bent and kind of “shabby chic” taste…and has turned our already charming little cabin into the most delightful – yes, a little cluttered – cottage filled with dresser scarves, dried flowers, interesting figurines, artwork, etc.
Always makes me happy when homes you’ve improved, renovated, made beautiful for re-sale, are loved and cared for by the new owners.  We’ve bought/ improved/ sold  a few through the years .
I have  Janel’s new release (from her movie) running through my head.  Though it has to do relationships and love lost – I find it kind of appropriate for many situations…”when it’s over…don’t look back.”

Hi View!  Hope all is going well with you.  That gal sounds like my kind of girl.  I'm a big fan of the shabby chic look, ever since I saw Rachel Ashwell introduce it on her HGTV show many years back.  I also have some of her design books.

This song made me think of M&M.  I think they both have moved on.  I do wonder if they'll one day look back with regrets about what could've been.

I'm not a country music fan but I'll watch just to see Rumer, Noah, and Erin.

Hi East!  I totally agree with you about the M&P pics.  Sorry, but I don't find anything appealing about these two as a couple.  So glad that ac is finally getting fixed but ouch on the cost!   Can't wait to read your review of the DWTS show.  Take good care of that knee, my friend.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Easily one of the weirdest conferences (?!) I’ve seen on Robert’s Calendar this year so far. If you have a second check it out. Speakers are “the cast” and the conference itinerary is “the script”. It’s also by invitation only, which needs to be requested in advance.
