    Gotta run.  We have a weirdly way-too-warm for 7: am kind of a day here this morning.  Heading for a high of 97.  Of course the humidity at that time will be only about 30%...there's the difference.

    Good Thursday morning, ladies!  Hope everyone is doing well and that you are all stayin cool!

    Haven't been able to get away from RL long enough to post in the last couple days.  Not sure how long I'll be here now, but will see what you all have had to report!

    Hope CEK is having FUN in Disney World!!!

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.      Hey, View....very interesting!  Was not aware they have been doing this since 2008!!  😋  Best kept secret!!  Seems like this is a logical solution--but who knew these things were even available?  Isn't Ameirca great?!  Someone is always coming up with a creative solution to a problem.

    I remember back in the day when growing up in NM (seemed to be in a drought ALL the time!!  Imagine that in the desert!!!  LOL), they started to do cloud seeding.  Not sure why we don't do that anymore. Think I read recently that they do it in other areas of the world.

    Drought periods have alway sbeen with us and will always be.  But I've always wondered when driving up the Central Valley where the California aquaduct is built why it is exposed rather than running underground to eliminate evaporation??  Might have been due to expense and technology at the time.  It was built a very long time ago.

    We will be going up north for our baby girl's adoption hearing and celebration on Sept. 8--so will go for the holiday weekend since everyone will have 3 days off + the day of the adoption.  Got a smokin' hot deal on Priceline for flights and rental car.  Beats 12 hours in the car--and still cheaper than driving!!!  Looking forward ot cooler temps!  September can be one of our hottest months down here.

    Gotta get started on the day....

    Tango....assume you arrived home safely and hope that you are recovering from jet lag.  Couple more days will turn you around.  I always find the 4th day to be the absolute WORST!!

    12 hours in the car!  California is a might long state, isn't it.
