Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

LOL........humm.....gabriele...our twist expert.........are we now making it a Marlee (is that the ship name of Meryl and Charlie?) LOL

*lol*, luv.  Someone needed to give Meryl an opening to talk about their incredible 17 year journey, I figured.
Can we maybe compound what we have so far?   I'm loosing the thread of the thread, I think.

(I am in the process of doing just that, gabriele. Microsoft Word is giving me some trouble though...)

Back on ABC, I came to visit to see what was described as a message board.
What did others have to say about magical artistry and personal connection?

That is was mesmerizing and powerful.

How could we feel such emotion?  They certainly must have no idea of what was to come,
for romantics saw in Meryl's eyes a special glow so bright
it seemed to melt his perceived bad boy image and reputation.

One night, after rehearsal, Meryl was caught off guard when Maks appeared at the
doorway, just staring.

"Wanna go for a coffee...drink?"
"Sorry, Maks...Val already asked.  And I have a hang-over from.... last night's afterparty...so, nah."

Maks' face fell like a man who’d lost a best friend.
Then he reminded himself he had 8 more weeks to show her that he was not what everyone thought.
Their dance this week: Foxtrot…and in that moment things changed.
To win, they needed to give the viewers what they want.
And viewers want romance!

Maks: "Let's have a talk..."
Meryl: "Charlie.....our 17 years.......has taught me to explore and exhibit many various emotions
which I feel free to demonstrate on you right now.”

“We’ve tricks in Ballroom, too.  From a pantomime, I've learnt.....to reflect what I see
in those truly in love."

Meryl and Maks decide it's time to be real!

Maks: "Time to practice...the near-kiss."
Meryl looks at Maks with a gleam in her eyes.

Val: "Hey, you ready, Meryl?"

Meryl looks at Maks and says, “Sorry, a promise is a promise.”  (Luv)

Promise...what promise was that???   (CEK)

"Coffee" she smiled, "and a pep talk"     (View)

(Carry on, ladies....what happens at the restaurant where Val and Meryl go? What do they talk about?  Does he warn her?  Come on to her?  Does she confide about Fedor?

CEK and View cannot contribute until someone else adds their 5 words)
