To get us in the mood for the new season of DWTS, here's a throwback video of Meryl and Charlie in the Finale of Season 18 with a little NeNe thrown in for good measure.

So Anthony played with the Shool of Rock in Camden NJ today on a real battleship. While they were so closeby, they decided to see some sights in Philly. Well, they tried to see some sights, no tickets available for Indepedence Hall but guess what? They somehow got front row seats to the naked bike races and both kids claim they are scarred for life and so is mom. Will have to hear all about this at our next dinner. Yikes.
Cute kids; cute photo! That will be a story you will need to share, EC!!!! Can't wait to hear about it!!! LOL
Naked bike races? Guy thrown out because of getting an erection? Well, someone is trying to compete with our "Thong Man" here in Austin. He has been seen around town riding a bike while appearing to be naked, but on closer look he was wearing some type of thong. I happened to see him a few years ago but couldn't get a good look because I was driving the car with my grandson in the back in his car seat. I saw the guy from the back but couldn't turn around and look at the front of him as I went past. Couldn't slow down either as I was on a very busy street. LOL. Then I was listening to a local radio program one day, and they were talking about him. We used to have a blond, long-haired guy named Lesley who walked around downtown in a bikini and a boa; people would take pics with him and pay him (just like they do in New Orleans). He was homeless but had a friend who let him sleep in a shed out in the back yard. He had an alcohol addiction problem and was found one time passed out on a sidewalk with a head injury. Seton (Catholic) Hospital cared for him without charging anything, and a few years later when Lesley died, his sister or some family member thanked the people of Austin for looking out for him. Our motto is "Keep Austin Weird".

Some of Carrie Hammer's designs. Meryl will be walking the runway with her designs during New York Fashion Week.

Me too, April! I remember a lot of skating fans were complaining about the dance being so short.
