Good morning, gabriele Hope your day is going well. Anything like our Halloween celebrated Down Under?
I know a lot of people who acknowledge All Saints Day....in a more religious sense. And don't do Halloween, but it has become such a Costume Party Event here. And I enjoy meeting and treating the little ones in the neighborhood. ALL COME WITH PARENTS these days. When I was 8, 9, 10 we ran all over by ourselves. Times have changed.
Hi view! Today is D-day for our tax... not quite the fun and games day to my liking. Halloween isn't really a big deal here. When I came to Australia in 1992, no one took any notice; people regarded it as an American 'thing' that didn't have a place in our culture. In the meantime you see the multinationals, K-mart, Target, Woolworth, Spotlight carrying all the paraphernalia. Bit the uptake is still slow and after the event there are tons of it left on clearance.
See you soon. xox

Hi guys :-) just dropping in with an update.....she is still in the hospital....they have the nausea under control and she is feeling better but her counts are extremely low....yesterday while they were giving her platelets she got hives so now she gets pre medicated for platelet transfusions as well as blood transfusions.....we basically will be here for another couple days waiting for her counts to get better. I will update again soon......oh.....lol....and the nurse is predicting Bindi for the win :-) ((((((group hugs)))))))
April...sending you more hugs and my hand to hold...I am praying that our niece will soon be back home. I am so sorry that she is having so many reactions to her treatment and hope the doctors will be able to get things back on track soon...Thinking of you both every day....

So sorry, april and niece. Stay strong. Has your daughter been prone to hives and sensitivities throughout her life, april?
Here it is Thursday already....guess I'll throw a couple of guesses on the Chart and get the ball rolling. I think this week is where someone gets the high score and thus immunity. The others "dance off"
View I think I am going to say Nick and Sharna will be the top scorer this week and I am changing my winner to Team Crikey...
I am still not sure who will be eliminated this week but I am going to go with Alexa (for today anyway)

Well it is Friday everyone...The day before Halloween. I will be going "Trick or Treating" with Kaleb, Kenzie and Kaylee and my daughter and son-in-law are going too...it is fun to walk around my old neighborhood with the children...(not sure if I ever mentioned it but my son bought my parents house, the house I was raised in from the time I was 3 after they passed away...he always said he would buy it...he says the house has my parents spirit in it and Kaleb says "pop", that is what we called my daddy, is there...)
