    Poor Gabriele, I am surprised that we didn't scare her off.  We were all "wigging out" and seeing spiders everywhere.  It was scary tho.....his posts were over the top.

    Oh, yeah...good for Booky!!!

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     He would have done well to have taken a lesson from her on that point! You don't have to publish everything!!! I have noticed, tho, that since then she has talked about it more, it seems. Now she is advocating for others who have dyslexia. She may have done so before and i wasn't aware of it, tho.

    I read somewhere that her mother wanted her to talk about it, but she didn't because she didn't want it to be a "focus" or "distraction", especially during skating competition.   Sort of why I think she didn't tell Maks about her depth perception.  It is apart of her......but not who she "is".  She never lets get it get in her way.  I love that about her and I am glad that she now feels like she can talk about it and maybe help others.

     
    It is also a part of the humility she shows.  She copes and doesn't make a big deal of anything.  Many people deal with much more.  It's a fact about who she is...she just lives with it.
