Luv how is your weather....it is still warm here until Saturday and Sunday then back to 75 for Christmas Day...Feels like Florida
It was cold today. 45 for the high, but it starts to warm up again tomorrow. It will be in the mid 50's, I think by the weekend, which is above average.
I heard on the weather channel today that the Cherry Blossoms are blooming in Washington DC

Ok so....LOL.....I am not sure what night we decided on the party for...LOL....I think it's tonight so I am putting on my Christmas shoes and ugly sweater and getting ready for some Christmas fun.....but if I have the wrong day I am fine with partying another night too
I have always wanted to paint a pair of tennis shoes...maybe I will make that a project for sometime in the new year to add to all the other projects I have that I either need to finish or want to do!!!!
Oh that sounds like fun

I think I saw that on the news the other day. Poor trees, they think it is spring.

View checking in!
I'm home from the concert - it was wonderful. That choir director is in a class of her own! The kids love her - they go to Disney World almost every year and get superior marks...or win!
VIEW!!!!YAY!!!!!! glad the concert was great

I can't stay on long....
But I was going to ask you all - what is the earliest Christmas memory you have? I remember shopping with my mom when maybe 4 yrs old. And pointing to a life sized newborn baby doll. And wanting it. But no, couldn't buy it that day.
And then it was one of my Christmas presents! So loved that dolly.

I also remember finally being old enough to put the tinsel on - carefully - one strand at a time!!!

egg nog.......blehhhhhhhhh......you can have minemy granny use to make something that was call Colonial Cream and it was kinda like a vanilla milkshake with a touch of spices....really good!! Wish I had her recipe...
I just last year added a recipe for stirred egg nog...that is, it's like a very thin custard - cooked. So you don't have to worry about raw eggs. It's delicious...add booze if you want, nutmeg, whipped cream!
that sounds good.....I don't like egg nog at all though
