Luv how is your weather....it is still warm here until Saturday and Sunday then back to 75 for Christmas Day...Feels like Florida

I can't stay on long....
But I was going to ask you all - what is the earliest Christmas memory you have? I remember shopping with my mom when maybe 4 yrs old. And pointing to a life sized newborn baby doll. And wanting it. But no, couldn't buy it that day.
And then it was one of my Christmas presents! So loved that dolly.
The old shopping center (only one around then) use to have a little house in the parking lot that stayed all year but at Christmas they decorated it and Santa would be there so you could go and visit him...I remember going I was probably 4 or 5 and I had a hat and a tweed looking coat with a little velvet collar on it...This Santa had a real beard too!!!
Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

The weather channel said that the whole east coast was WARM and not to expect a White Christmas in the east....

Oh wow, What a great memory. I have so many, but my biggest memories were that I always had to wait until my mother got up in the mornings, video camera in hand, before I could go out and see what Santa brought. It was always mid-mornings...so it felt like forever. LOL She had to video tape everything. heheh
One of the "sadder" Christmas was after my parents divorced. We didn't do much that year to celebrate, but we did have a real Christmas tree, went to some kind of community party and brought home lots of yellow balloons. That was all the "decorations" that we had on the tree that year. It still ended up being a nice Christmas. Still have a picture of our "balloon" tree.. lol
Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.

It was cold today. 45 for the high, but it starts to warm up again tomorrow. It will be in the mid 50's, I think by the weekend, which is above average.
are you guys all going to have a green Christmas?????
