    For Monday, I'm going to say Bindi for the top. Not sure about the bottom, yet. I don't want to say Alek, but I don't know if his fan base can overcome the deficit.

    Got your pick, Vmom...I think I'll change my Top of the Leader Board, too.  I'm trying to be supportive of Val and Tamar but I do want to make some points.


    Here is a chart they posted on Pure.  Shows what required (probably) dances remain to be danced by the different celebs.  And you can wonder how well some will do with the more strict dances.

    I was reading your post, Jetmama.  Thanks for adding to the story.  I did not know she had any children.  In the movie there is much about her marriage (to the young opera singer Fritz Altmann) and their early life and escape.   But by the time the movie's story starts (1998) he has been dead 4 years.  

    I will tell you a little more, since we often talk off topic, but the movie is worth seeing.

    The family was very wealthy, and the aunt was known for her beauty. The artist Klimt painted her portrait - in his distinctive way -.and the family had a few other Klimts.

We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     My sister has always said what a lovely woman Maria was.  I assume she only had the one child..and I don't believe Peter and his wife have any.

    Saw that in the article.  Nice little chunk of change, huh?!!  My sister will be really MAD she didn't marry the guy when she had the chance!!!  LOL  I have to tell you, when they were together, he had a business called "Packrat's Delight"!!!  I guess it was a recycle shop...and the living quarters were above the shop!!!  So he is likely in quite a better place than living atop Packrat's Delight!!!  HAHA
