Mark Ballas & Alexander Jean Bandmate BC Jean Engaged! How He Proposed! (Exclusive)
“The day before the proposal, I had the house literally turned into Woodstock,” Mark told Access Hollywood on Thursday, revealing that their home was outfitted in vintage rugs and “posters of all her favorite bands everywhere.”
Getting her to the house for the proposal, though, required a little fib he was able to concoct thanks to their home being under construction.
“Our manager for our group called and said, ‘Look, there’s been a bit of a thing at the house, you need to go confirm something. Mark can’t get over there.’ She said, ‘Yeah, no problem,'” Mark continued.
In honor of their 2015 song “Roses and Violets,” Mark said he lined their driveway with petals from the two flowers.
“Violets are out of season, so it took me forever to get ’em,” he laughed. “So, she got there, and then when she came into the house and she opened the door, it was as if she was transported to ’60s/’70s Woodstock.”

Hi guys thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.....so far so good, she is feeling ok.....still waiting for Monday though
in the last few days, with all the ups and downs and waiting and taking it one day at a time.....our old mantra came to mind......not in relation to MnM but in relation to everything we've been going through with my daughter...."ride the tide"......it has a whole new meaning to me now.....so I think I am going to borrow it...LOL
sorry I didn't make it on yesterday....we spent the whole day with my cousin and her fam.....she has 3 teenage daughters and the best friend of the oldest was there too....LOL.....my son was a bit out numbered with all 5 of the girls.....LOL.....but he (and my cousin and I...LOL) survived and had a good time
are any of you getting the really cold winter weather..... if you are keep warm and stay safe (((hugs)))
Oh and well....LOL.....every time we talk about taking it one day at a time that old show from the 70's with Valerie Bertinelli comes to mind...LOL....(by the way I would love to see her on DWTS)......but any way.....you guys know I love my theme days and well to help pass the weekend as we are waiting .....tomorrow I am going to do a flash back to the 70's and One Day at a Time theme....LOL
....it's my odd way of reminding myself to take this all one day at a time LUV DO YOU THINK YOU COULD MAKE A "ONE DAY AT A TIME" CAKE TOMORROW????
OH AGAIN!!! saying ODD I just reminded myself of our old ODD running conversations back on ABC!!!!!!!!! .....we drove Webby CRAZY with that!!!!!!!!!!!....LOL!!!!!.....how oddly odd I should remember that....LOL!!!!!!!!
ok so I am still a little tired and loopy from teenager overload yesterday...LOL
I am going to go try to catch up real quick

Gabriele, my DIL posted this today. As she did, I too have tears in my eyes. I am bringing over the link. This is a wonderful video of a Haka performed at the reception of the groom who posted the video. He and his bride got married in Auckland several days ago, I believe.. How incredibly moving. Would you be willing to fill us in on this tradition? The video has gone viral and has been labeled the best Haka ever.

Hi April, I just posted a message about a wonderful video at exactly the same time that you posted this message. I have not gone back to read your previous posts today. Eastcoast must be in the path because she lives just a little over 30- min. from my daughter who has been battening down the hatches, so to speak.

Good morning...having a wonderful time. Perfect temps.
Enjoyed my felting class. Same woman teaching it as did the "crocheted necklaces" class I took 2 years ago...retired Home Ec tracher from Ohio.
Not much time to even lurk up til now. But some of the bigger things to do or have someone else do around the townhouse are now done, so maybe tomorrow evening I can chat a little.
Did see happy news about our niece. Was wondering if gabriele's young man ever got to see the 'correct Michael' ?
Attended a community concert of the Claire Lynch Bluegrass acoustic band. Had never heard of her nor would I say it's my favorite type of music, but gosh the y were good....so much talent. Lots of fun and retirees are a great audience I would say.
Later.
I agree with KOS..congratulations to VA.
