hi guys, well yesterday was a very long day.....I took her in the early morning to have her Pet scan......we thought it would be next week before we had her disease progression appointment and heard the results, but last night her Doc called me and he had already seen the scan results.....and well.....this is soooooooo hard to say but the cancer has grown....it is still just in her chest though...but this is not good news......they are going to have a meeting of the board of Doctors on monday or possibly tuesday to go over her case and talk about options then we will go in for an appointment and discuss the options and make decisions of where to go from here.....he did say they would be wanting to test my son to see if he would be a match for her for a bone marrow transplant.....he said that would probably not be their first course of action but that they want to have a donor lined up just in case.......guys this has been a rough one to hear......we really thought this would be the time we would be able to say it's gone completely and be celebrating with you all so much and instead......well.....it's back....one of the first things that I asked them was if having to hold her chemo for so long could have  given an opportunity for a few cells to grow back.....and he said no, that unfortunately he thinks it's the other way around.....he thinks the cancer growing back was what was keeping her counts down not the chemo.......we are all  just still processing all of our emotions about this, but are staying positive and will keep fighting as long as we have too and trusting that its in God's hands.......I will know much more after our meeting next week and will let you all know then....but please keep us all in prayer ......(((((hugs and holding tightly to all of your hands and leaning on your shoulders)))))

Oh, April.....so very sorry this is the situation right now.  As you know, I've been in SD with the kids the past couple of days.  I do wish I had come home to different news.

We all know that life has ways of making sure we take nothing for granted.  I know that the teams of doctors will do their best to find an effective treatment.  We will pray that she is able to tolerate it.  Without being overly optimistic, I saw an amazing report in the past week about the use of T cells, which was incredible....effective in something like 80% of patients!!!  Be sure to ask about that.  It is in the early stages but those who have tried it seemed to have good results.  I'll look for a link to the story.

Know that our niece and you and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers.  You are all about the strongest people I know, so know that there is always hope and that things happen for a reason....even those gut punches (like this) that come our way sometimes.  I know you guys are all fierce fighters...she is an incredible trooper....and you will all handle this with strength and grace.  Know that we are all here for you with love, hugs, hand holding, and prayers.




 

Good Sunday Morning to Everyone.
Today will be a quick visit till later this afternoon....We are eating lunch at my mother in laws today.  We have some family in from out of town so there will be about 25 there today...

What Can We Expect From Julianne Hough In 2016?
As you all know from a previous post, Julianne Hough won’t be returning as a Judge for Season 22 Of Dancing With The Stars. From all the reports out there, it sounds like there weren’t any hard feelings with producers and Rob Wade hopes she will be back on Dancing With The Stars in the future. Hollywood Life, a tabloid who claims to have inside info (though that is very questionable as they have been so wrong on things in the past) is reporting the same as well.

Did Julianne and DWTS part on bad terms? Not at all! “Everyone loves Julianne and expect her to return again in the future,” our source continues. “They didn’t leave things on bad terms at all. They are proud of her and only hope the best for her. The door is always open for a return!”

JH: The year has already started with a bang, appearing in Dirty Grandpa & I’m still on a high from starring in Grease: Live.

Honestly, it was a dream come true for me & was the best experience of my performing career so far.

The fact that so many people watched & seemed to love it was really icing on the cake— I’m so proud of what we did & will miss being with everyone every day. We’re working hard to continue to grow the community we’ve created with my “Jules” blog & a lot of fun lifestyle and charitable projects connected to that.

Of course, I’m super excited about launching my MPG curated collection this spring along with immersing myself in the process of designing my first collection for fall 2016.

Apart from that, I’m looking at a lot of really exciting film and television projects as an actress and producer.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Julianne has planned as an actress and producer as I loved her in “Grease Live”!! But, oh, what I’d give to see her dancing in some capacity on Dancing With The Stars in some pro numbers atleast in the new season. Whatever the case, we wish her all the best in her new adventures!
