Good evening, ladies!
Been in San Diego for 2 days....got home last evening and was pooped!
Stayed overnite so I could watch the kids' roller hockey game...and I guess I was the charm (at least my DIL says I have to come every week now!!! LOL). Their team won for the first time in the season (they've played 5 or 6 games). Scores was tied 5-5 at the end of the 3rd period so they went to shoot outs (like soccer--one on one with the goalie). The yellow team had 1 shooter that got the puck in the net; the other team had 0. A win is a win--and, boy, were the kids EXCITED!!! LOL It was great!!! Glad I was able to enjoy the victory with them. Nothing worse than a no-win season!!!
Gonna catch up....
Congratulations for being the "Team Good Luck Charm"
Yay

Thanks everyone for the vote of confidence. I am really unsure about taking up this daunting task. lol If anyone has an idea on what to put in for the columns "points area" feel free to throw in your ideas. I will try to include as many as I can without making the board to cumbersome. View, I got to say, you were amazing last year. You are a doll for thinking up this idea and keeping track of everything. I will do my best for this season.....but I got to say, I can't wait till you take back the reigns. lol
You know you have my vote!!!!

Doug Flutie's parents died an hour apart last year.
The article:Wow, I didn't hear about Tom's mother until now. I did hear about Doug Flutie's parents. It's both sad and romantic.
My aunt and uncle passed away in December, 6 days apart. My uncle had been caring for his wife, and then he was diagnosed with cancer. It was kind of a blessing that she went first because he was worried about leaving her. His final act of love was to bury her, and then he went promptly downhill. They were very religious, and he had told her when she was dying that he would see her soon.
So sorry about your aunt and uncle, vmmm....
I think people who have been close for a very long time often will their end after the other goes. It's very hard to let go and they can't imagine living without the other person. My grandparents died about 15 mos. apart. I've always believe my grandfather lost the will to live and just refused to take care of himself.
Vmmm, So sorry to hear about your aunt and uncle....

KOS asked me to post a PPC for tango's quick recovery from her injury and for her dance competition. Tango is busy working on her costumes while she is "one-armed", so not much is keeping her down!!
Here is one for KOS who is making a quick car trip with her son to visit her husband in Wisconsin. SAFE TRAVELS, KOS
And while we are at it, here is a rainbow with a pot of gold for April and our niece. Hope they get to go home today...and that all goes well while they have a short break. (((HUGS)))
That "sister" of ours....nothing can keep her off the dance floor....especially if Maks is there!!!! LOL
