Re: New Year - New Beginnings

Good to *see* everyone who signed on if only for a short time.

Adios!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Re: New Year - New Beginnings

Just wanted to pop in for a quick visit...I went to the eye doctor today and it didn't go exactly as I had thought it would.  I have a cyst on the inside of my eyelid and my regular eye doctor wants me to see a specialist (ocular plastic surgeon) to see what type and how is the best way to get rid of it, so to speak...I have had a sty and another type of thingy on my eyelid in the past but this is a bit different.  My eyesight in that eye is a bit worse too...not 100% sure if it is coming from that or the fact that I do have cataracts (I have known about them for a while now....the pleasures of being in your 50's) so I have to wait for an appointment.  He did a couple things today and I have to use some drops and warm compresses until I get my appointment in hope that it will correct itself...(my hopes) so for tonight staring at the computer screen is a bit irritating to my eye so I am not going to post anything till the morning.

I am also a bit tired from being with my 3 very active and talkative grandchildren for the afternoon as well...Pooped is a better term.

So I am going to say good night to you all and I will be back in the morning to see how everyone is doing and see what exciting news is out there.

KOS and Jet I am so sorry I missed you today.  Hope your holidays were wonderful and can't wait to be together another year with you all...

Till tomorrow....HUGS

I have meant to post this for a very long time to our message board because it so aptly describes the Sisterhood of the Traveling Message Boards.   The quote is from his book, The Magnificent Defeat.

Oh dear,  I hope everything will be okay.  Eyesight is so important. Didn't you have an eye issue last year?  Something caught in your eye that scraped your cornea or something?  Could that be a contribution to the cyst they found?  Just worried.......and wondering if it could be corrected with some meds or something "simple" instead of surgery.  Hopefully, the drops will help.   I will have to look up what a sty is.....hopefully, it is nothing.  Please keep us sisters updated.  *Hugs* and *prayers* are being sent in your direction.

Re: New Year - New Beginnings

Good morning

Just a quick hello.  I'll be back with a few twitter found things, but no time just now.

Wishing you good outcomes with drops and holistic remedies, CEK.  But whatever it takes, I guess, to ensure healthy eyes and eyesight.  (btw, my auntie loved the outcome of her cataract surgery a few years ago...no more glasses needed - they implant a corrective lens)

And april....I think a High Tea Party is just the thing for us.  An event!!   Would you like it soon?  to make your long weekend of waiting for Monday's results go faster?

We will all need fancy clothes, jewelry, and of course HATS  and gloves.

That sounds like a great idea, view!  Johnny Weir's headgear has inspired me earlier today, so I will probably wear a 'fascinator' with real flowers that shed pollen.  Do we have enough 'Lady Grey', view?
