Good morning.  As I sit in our office which has a door and deck to the back yard - where the dogs currently are.

Thinking of you this morning,CEK - as you see the specialist about your eye.  Good luck with that.

Hope you all have a good Friday.

LOL.............here is another cute picture to go with yours View.

Good evening.  I had not planned to log on tonight, but this is so funny that I had to share it with all my sisters on this board.  It began with this T.S. Eliot quote from my older son, a quote he posted on his Facebook page.  As TS Elliot so eloquently put it, "We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started, change our makeup to look radically different to our fellow travelers, and upset everyone by joining a search party to find ourselves, for the first time."

And then this link.http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/216498/woman-accidentally-joins-search-party-looking-for-herself/?utm_source=share-fb&utm_medium=button

If the link does not work hopefully one of you that is more adept than I (and that is all of you) at these things can easily find the link for "woman accidentally joins search party looking for herself.  I can just imagine all of you bursting out laughing as I did.

April, you, our niece and your family are in my heart and prayers.
CEK.  Hope you had a wonderful, albeit tiring, day with the "littles".
Luv, so glad you are feeling better.
View , Jet and April, thank you for the encouraging words about writing and sharing.

I have the feeling that I have missed someone who posted on the last four pages.  If I have, my sincere apologies.

LOL......this is funny...thanks for sharing.

I agree with View, Jet and April. I think you and your family experiences would be interesting to read.

Thanks for the "good wishes" on feeling better. Still coughing, but it is a breeze compared to where I was last week.

CEK, I know you will be plumb tuckered out from your day of babysitting.  But when, or if, you log on tonight...I have 2 nightcaps for you.  To warm you up and relax you.

You choice:  With alcohol or non.

Lavender Honey Cream

     Or simply delicious hot cocoa.

Thanks View...I was but I will try them both...

Re: New Year - New Beginnings

Afternoon to every one and thank you so much for thinking about me and my visit to the eye specialist...it was a good visit...he said that the cyst was actually an internal sty and that what I had been doing (drops and hot compresses) were helping...he then asked me how brave I was?????  Well he wanted to take a needle and open it up so that the drops could get inside it and it could drain (sorry for the graphic description) so I said go ahead, it can't be anymore annoying or discomfort than it is now.  He put some numbing drops in my eye and it was over!!!!  I have to continue the drops for another week along with the hot compresses and he said my eyesight should improve.  The eyesight problem is coming from the drainage of the sty.  He said the cataracts were no way ready to be replaced so that made me happy.

As for my accident yesterday...so far I am feeling ok...thank heaven...
