iamvalc: this woman right here is the reason why I was able to come to America and pursue my dreams. to be able to now provide for my fam and give back to the ones that were there before anybody paid attention is my definition of success. It’s tradition now to get together whenever I’m in town, I pick her up from her crib in East New York and take her for dinner and shots on Brighton Beach where it all began for us in ‘94… The older she gets the reality of losing her gets more and more real, and eventhough i can’t change the inevitable Imma do everything I can to cherish the moments we have left together.
