The DWTS Season 23 Rumor Mill Grinds It’s Way Back To Ryan Lochte
As we reported eons ago…only only a week or so…Ryan Lochte is back in consideration as a DWTS Season 23 contestant. People.com says it’s because of his Rio controversy. Would not surprise me at all….
Ryan Lochte is in talks to join the celebrities competing on season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, a source tells PEOPLE.
While the cast of the latest edition of the reality competition series has yet to be announced and ABC does not comment on casting reports, the source says Lochte may be among the front-runners.
The news comes shortly after Lochte, 32, ignited controversy by fabricating a details about being robbed during his time at the Rio Olympics in August.
“I’ve been thinking about it a lot, because I have a big heart, and I feel like let down a lot of people,” Lochte told PEOPLE on Wednesday. “I feel bad that I have let people down.”

Is Maksim Chmerkovskiy Returning to 'Dancing With the Stars'?
The fan favorite last competed on the ABC reality competition series on season 18.
A Dancing With the Stars favorite could be headed back to the dance floor.
A source spotted Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is expecting his first child with fiancee Peta Murgatroyd, at a season 23 cast photo shoot for ABC’s reality competition series on Wednesday.
Could this mean that the pro dancer is making a triumphant return to DWTS? Chmerkovskiy, 36, last competed with partner Meryl Davis on season 18, during which they took home the mirror ball trophy. ET has reached out to ABC for comment.
Chmerkovskiy’s younger brother, Val, is one of the eight pros already announced for the new season, which also include Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko and Allison Holker.
In 2014, fresh off his big DWTS win, Chmerkovskiy told ET he likely wouldn’t be returning to the show.
“I don’t think so,” Chmerkovskiy said when asked if he would be returning the following season. “This is exhausting. It has nothing to do with money. The first thing that I did after hugging her [Meryl] … was come up to Derek [Hough] and I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t know how you do it.’ He did it five times. I have no idea.”
A year later, Chmerkovskiy was even more definite in his answer when approached about his DWTSfuture, saying in a 2015 interview he’s “definitely not” coming back to the show that made him famous.
“You have to walk away when the time is right, and the time was right,” he told Glamour at the time. “I think the change of guard is necessary. Like a plant that in order to improve growth, you have to pull branches. It’s the same thing. Every now and again, everything needs to be refreshed.”
Meanwhile, DWTS is starting to shore up its celebrity cast. In addition to Amber Rose, ET has learned that former Disney Channel and The Fosters star Jake T. Austin is “100 percent” set, while General Hospital’s Emma Samms is “definitely in.”
Fans won’t get the official word until the full cast is revealed on Aug. 30.
Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Well now we know that Emma is BACK!!!!!Emma is BACK!!!Yes this is old news at the moment, but I am so happy! I will NEVER understand what problem the show had with her when they dropped her. Makes no sense! She has been so great for the show. She did amazing, is so sweet, lovable and was among the more popular pros overnight. Not expecting a good partner for her(again), but at least she’s back on.

Ok so Emma is back...I just hope she gets a good partner this season...I wonder if that is who they are going to tell on GMA in the morning...Hmmmm
Well I am going to say Good Night for today...I have been busy today going through old papers and such and I am a bit over it now...LOL
I will be on for a quick visit in the morning because I have my appointment with the orthopedic about my knee...Keep your fingers crossed for me that it is a "quick fix"...my MRI report didn't sound so promising...
Tear in my meniscus, advanced osteoarthritis in all three areas of my knee, two ganglion cysts in my knee and a Bakers cyst too...
I hope your day was good and your night will be restful and dreams that are happy...Till tomorrow....
