Indeed the news of the day....
Look at it this way view.... it might get more sisters interested in the new season. Tango where are you??????
It gives us tons of 'stuff' to talk about during the seasons. Maks has played the fauxmance angle quite a bit, including Erin and the rolling-in-a-bed number. Now, as expectant father, what will he come up with? View, pack the jam away and get the popcorn machine out. I'm ready to see this!!!
Lol, gabriele...you make some good points. This season will have a little "something" to it that's been missing, that is for sure. I had just thought he left on a high, and at the perfect time, and now - like Derek - I guess you never say never coming back to the show.
And I am no one to be passing judgement. The one and only Season I watched before 18 was Season 1. Maks was not a part of that. I was rooting for John O'Hurly back then - and he did not win. Real Life intervened and I didn't give much thought to DWTS until Meryl and Charlie took part in it. So I have never watched a full season with Maks.
I'll miss Tony. And won't it be fun for Jenna to actually do choreography for her own benefit. So far I think she has helped Val, assisted Mandy, and not had her chance to shine.
I'm ready for the popcorn too....and definitely up for a few "Maksisms" to liven things up!!! I agree he left at the right time, but I have always tried to live by the "never say never because never is a very long time" principle myself...so I cringe whenever I hear someone say they would never do something!!! Easy to say at the moment, but not so easy to achieve in the scheme of life.
I was--and still am--a John O'Hurley fan but I continued to watch and discovered Maks when he arrived!! I have a certain appreciation for those who live and speak out of the box (married to one of those!!), so, although I sometimes cringe at Maks and his "isms", I find the humor and like the "tell it like it is" without apology aspect.
:
I agree with you on the "never say never" because it usually comes back to haunt you!!!!

Good Saturday from VA...
Well the humidity decided to come back to visit us today... But the sun is shining and the sky is clear blue so I guess it isn't to bad...
Hope you all had a good day yesterday. I guess it is getting time to think about fall...I do love fall and I hope we have one this year.
School has already started in some places and ours actually starts the 5th of September...my son, Kaleb's daddy goes back on Monday. This year both Kaleb and Kenzie will be heading to school and that only leaves my DIL with Kaylee...I am sure she will be excited and lost at the same time without all the fussing, fighting and yelling that they do with each other...LOL...NOT!!!!
Lets see what news and rumors I can dig up....
