Your too funny Jet....I do like the swim caps too!!! I remember when you HAD to wear them at any public pool!!!I remember those days too, CEK! But they weren't the racing caps--they were the clunky old ones with the chin strap!! When I was swimming in college we wore racing caps, then for a while swimmers didn't wear them, but now it is all part of the "style" with the googles as well!
I got this red mark under my chin and near my ears; I was allergic to the rubber in the swim cap! Dermatologists rely on people like me!
This was when I was about 9 years old; Mother took me to this dermatologist, Dr. Shelmire, in Dallas. He had us cut a piece off the strap and tape it to my shoulder; yep, caused a rash there too.

Was reading the People article again, and took some screen shots of some of my favorite parts. Missing them today…but still in shock that they are married hahaI love that he says they were “inseparable” …they still are!
They are still in Stage One of Love; I sincerely hope that they make it through Stage Two and then on to Three, but, honestly, they took a risk marrying so soon. I've known of whirlwind marriages that have turned out okay and some that became disastrous.

Interesting "test", isn't it?! So practical and inexpensive too!! Now you'd probably get 16 allergy tests to find out the same thing!!! LOL I have a friend who seems to have the worst possible...or remote...allergic reaction to just about everything! A few years ago she had a stent put in for something (wasn't her heart--and I don't recall exactly what the reason was), she developed a horrible condition, nad it took several days in the hospital for them to discover it was whatever the stent was made from!!
At least in your case, Annie, you just had a good excuse not to wear the swimming cap!!! LOL

I agree, Annie....What they have going for them, tho, is maturity and a lot of life experience. By the time you're almost 40, most have been around the block a time or two even if not married. In his case, I would agree he was kind've on the rebound although his divorce wasn't final before he met Kym. It seems, tho, that they both are grounded, so I think they have a better than average chance of making it work...and, of course, it's a good thing they won't have to worry about finances!! Just maybe problems with the ex now and then and/or his children--both of which can be major, I might add!!! LOL I'm sure they have talked about all of that.
As a sidebar, I have several parallels with Sharkaroo. My hubby was still married when we met although she had filed for divorce (both times he was in VN) and had 2 kids. We married a year after we met (divorce was final when he returned to the US at the 6 mo. mark in our relationship). I never had any doubts--and apparently he didn't either---44 years later!
