Well what a boring morning in the news department...so with that I am going to head out for a bit.
Starting this afternoon I will have the house to myself...well including a dog and 3 cats...Hubby has gone to DC for my oldest daughters youngest daughters christening. He went with my MIL and his sister and her hubby. Then about noon my daughter and her hubby will be heading to Richmond for a wedding of one of their friends from college and they all will be back sometime tomorrow...So I can do whatever I would like to do...but most likely I will catch up on things I didn't get done this week from going to doctor appointments and running errands for my children...
So all of you have a Super Saturday and I will come back later to see if there is anything, anything at all interesting to post....

I'm telling you, Kym is still in stage one of love, so she's not gonna dislike anything about him now. A woman who is turning 40 and wants children, but not out of wedlock, is going to find it easy to get along with a good-looking, wealthy man who adores her. I sound cynical, and I am, although I wish nothing but the best for them. There may be all kinds of problems looming (to begin with, none of his children were at the wedding); I just hope they know how to handle the challenges they may face.

It's not cynical, CEK. Just realistic. Hope her wish for motherhood comes true.

I'm sure you are right, Annie...because nothing stays the same in life, married or not married, young or old. We all change as time goes by, hopefully for the better, and hopefully in the interest of making our relationships work for the better.
This is, I think, the first time I've seen Robert with a cigar in his mouth so does he smoke them regularly or only on occasion? I had to laugh because it brought to mind the image of my MIL YELLING at my FIL about how much she HATED his cigars!!! She was HILARIOUS...and got away with it!! He also smoked a pipe so I think the pipe became his choice more often...but she hated that too!!! She just hated smoking but he smoked almost all of his life (cigarettes for many years before I knew him). None of the 5 children smoked, however.
I do think Robert's children may have issues over the divorce--and he was courting Kym before it was final in any case. Many parents pollute the kids' minds...sometimes unintentionally, other times bitterly...so if the divorce wasn't "friendly" (if there is such a thing really!), the children may be blaming their father at this stage. They likely resent Kym, so how Robert and Kym handle things with the children will be key to the future for all of them. Surely there were good reasons for the pre-nup!!

That was I -- Annie -- being cynical/realistic. Guess I've seen and read too much; at my age, you learn how to spot potential problems. Even Maks and Peta will have challenges, no matter how excited they are over this baby. Children are wonderful blessings but they change your relationship, not always for the better all the time.

I have forgotten, how old are Robert's Children?

They keep a very low profile on social media...probably even more since the separation and divorce. He has one son, Brendan, approx 24 years old. Two daughters... Caprice would be 18 based on an article I saw her mentioned in, and Skye - I think she is the oldest.
But I am an optimist. With time and maturity - and relationships of their own - I believe the kids will see that their father was very unhappy and that Kym brought joy back in to his life. The divorce may not have been final, but the separation was clean...there was no going back to Diane imo - her call. Kym did not cause it or prevent a reconciliation.
I expect it to last their lifetime. But even if it does not...life is for living, loving.
Here's a cute thing that sums it up with an element of dance!
