Yes, the lie is that I am the youngest of 5 children.
But I am the youngest of 4.
It was true of so many of my friends in school, that they had older brothers and sisters. Then the “war gap” in their families as husbands and daddies went off to WWII.
When the war was over, and “Johnny came marching home” the Baby Boom began. 1946, 7, 8, 9, etc. and we were born.
My brother and 2 sisters were 12, 9, and 8 years old when I was born. (The girls got to name me.)
Now KOS' turn.

I was born in Burma.
I attended Wellesly college.
My dad was from Tennessee.

Luv, you got it on the first try. But Wellesley contacted me through my high school and offered me a scholarship. My brother got a full ride to Harvard a year later. Why were these Ivy league schools so interested in us? Because we were missionary kids and they wanted a diverse student body. Not very many missionary kids going to Ivy League schools. But the system would not let me post as a respond/quote. It kept telling me that my syntax is wrong.
