Really? Red over Pink?

Here are some fun questions.   I think we just need to "quote" the post and answer in numerical order.  Is there a better way?

Who wants to go first.  And feel free to add some questions.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Which Grisham book are you listening to, View?  He is a fav of mine also.  I read "The Appeal" last.  Kind've an appropriate ending for current times....too close to reality!

Re: Really? Red over Pink?

My husband, the READER! - has enjoyed him for years, I didn't think I'd like the genre...but checked out the audio version of Sycamore Row earlier this spring when I was doing some painting in the kitchen.  I liked it enough to continue either reading or listening to
         The Litigators
         The Associate
Recently finished Gray Mountain which I did not care for as much.  Part of the problem was the young woman reading the audio.
Am now listening to The Racketeer, a recent novel of his.  It's great again.

This person has rated them  - his opinion, from worst to best.  I agree with him, based on my limited experience, he is not the greatest with women's point of view, conversation etc.

 1. Formally,  my legal name Kathryn Elizabeth is after my mother and grandmother.  But my mom asked that I be called Beth after young married woman who along with her husband did a lot for my mom her first two years in college.  Her name was Beth and my mom called her Queen Beth.  It is odd because I was just asked on Friday about this.
2. My favorite sandwich is a turkey or chicken BLT on toast.
3. No I do not have my tonsils.
4. I have not bungee jumped.  I would like to think that I would be willing to.
5. I have been in caves but have not been with people who really explored the cave, that is I do not remember any risks being taken.
6. My favorite cereal is steel cut oats with dried cranberries.
7. I do untie my shoes when I take them off.
8. Favorite ice cream is Jamoca Almond Fudge.
9. If I am forced to choose, I guess it is red because I wear red more often that I do pink.  But I do love the right shade of pink. I must admit that a year after we were married my husband asked me to start wearing primary colors a lot more often because I had black hair and it was his opinion, my mom's too, that jewel colors were what I ought to be wearing.  He never said a word about this when we were dating and we dated for over three years.
10.  If I have to choose, it is cat.
11.  It's A Wonderful Life.
12.  Happy endings that also have  a tinge of sadness to them because that is what life is about.
13.  Currently I am rereading The Lord of the Rings Trilogy as I read/listen to the audio books with a group of black teens and some senior citizens.    And as part of the Beloved Community I am finishing Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson and will be beginning a book by Osha  Gray Davidson called "The Best of Enemies."  I just saw a play based on "The Best of Enemies".  It was powerful.
14.  My mouse pad is part of my computer.  I have a MAC notebook.
15.  Bronze, black and pewter in equal amounts.
16.  Lavender
17.  I honestly don't remember.
18.  Ocean beach house.
19.  Soccer to watch.
20.  Badminton to participate in.
21.  Black.

Maks (Bergen County Interview when asked about the kind of woman he would like to marry.)  "I'm drawn to success.  I want to be somebody's fan, excited about her life, her career, her choices."

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.
