I wanted to mention that my auntie is doing sooo well. With time and healing and going to physical therapy for a couple of weeks due to the back problems she was experiencing (which I truly hoped was not related to kidneys...and I guess is wasn't)
She is looking and feeling good. And even worked at her part-time job at the department store one day last week!!
It is so wonderful to hear that your aunt is doing well. She is such a trouper. I would like to be "like her" when I am her age.

Hi, everyone! I can't believe it's almost show-time! I hope my kiddos let me watch. My "baby' seems to need more attention at night now that she's in school all day, and my oldest won't be getting rides home this year. 
It's been kind of a rough adjustment back to school, but hopefully things will even out as we get into a rhythm.

I can't believe that it is almost time for the show. I am way behind on things, not ready in any way shape or form......still have way too many RL things to do. LOL Anyway, I am posting the chart. We have lots of spaces for "categories" to help make the game fun. Any sister out there want to add to it? Also, is there anyone who would like to play.....HRM, maybe?
I know that Tango is going to be busy with the RL DWTS "team" lol. I know you will have a great time with your lesson from Tony.
This season does look like an interesting one......we will see where it leads....lol

Hope your kiddos let you watch too, vmmm! May all 3 adjust easily to the new rigors of academia and extracurricular activities. I'm sure the little one misses her mom when she is in school all day.
Facetimed with my daughter and kids last nite. The eldest (4th grade) is selling cookie dough, bags, and magazine subscriptions for her school fundraiser....hoping to get 150 orders so she can get an iPad for a prize! 
Fortunately they only have 2 weeks in which to do that and she hasn't hit 20 orders yet!!! LOL LOL My daughter is exhausted already---prompting granddaughter (who does NOT lack for words!) to show the catalog and describe the products!! LOL LOL I remember those days, but no alluring prizes such as iPads (which did not exist, of course, in the 1980's!!). Back then, tho, it was wrapping paper they sold!!! LOL I probably still have some in a closet somewhere!!! LOL

Well, this is quilting and potluck nite...until February when our teacher, now retired, is eligible to return as a long-term substitute. They will reopen 4 of her classes then! So I need to make my chicken enchiladas and finish up the vacuuming before people start arriving..

Happy Thursday Sisters....
We had a big thunder storm during the night, but has now stopped and is suppose to be 93 and more than likely humid today...
Hope everyone is doing good this week. I think I may start doing a little "getting ready for fall/winter" in the house and yard. Hopefully I will get our bathroom in our bedroom finished before Thanksgiving...that is my goal!!!
Now on to the news....
