Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Bhutan probably.  Also, I would probably like to see Arizona and combine it catching up in person with the sisters.

Ice dancing gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White to perform at Public Square →

CLEVELAND– Olympic gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White will put on a free performance at Public Square in downtown Cleveland.

The event at the Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink starts at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 and also features several award-winning skaters from Northeast Ohio.

Winterhurst Figure Skating Club member and coach Carol Heiss Jenkins will emcee the show. Jenkins took home figure skating gold at the 1060 Olympics.

Davis and White won gold in ice dancing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, becoming the first Americans to accomplish the feat. The pair won six-straight U.S. National Championships, two World Championships and the silver medal at the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver, Canada.

In 2014, Davis took her winning ways to “Dancing with the Stars,” taking home the mirror ball trophy with professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

WOW!  Carol Heiss Jenkins was the first figure skater I remember watching during the Olympics....in what year??!!!  LOL. I read her biography (or autobio...not sure which) as a young teen and wanted to decide how I could do something like that.....but never did!!  Life in New Mexico didn't afford too many opportunities for competitive winter sports!!!  LOL.  But having those 4 years living in the U.P. of Michigan (prior to NM) where I skied or skated almost every day in the winter, I was sure there would be someone who would find my "talent"!!  LOL.  Dreams of childhood......

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
