If you got a free ticket to go anywhere ... this country or around the world ... to spend an all expenses paid week - WHERE WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO GO?Bhutan probably. Also, I would probably like to see Arizona and combine it catching up in person with the sisters.
I think I would go to Russia and Scandinavia...all places I haven't been before....or Turkey and Israel.
Meet you in Arizona, Gabriele....just let us know when you are coming! We'll treat you for a week of fun, food, and sightseeing!! Lots of beautiful and unusual things to see there and it's only a half day's drive for us!

So today I bought a new (to me) vintage Singer sewing machine! It was only $75.00, in excellent condition, with wooden carrying case, weighs about a TON, has the original box of accessories in mint condition....and now I need to see if I can determine about how old it is. When I find out if/how it works, I'll take it to the sewing machine guru and get a tune-up on it. The attraction was (a) price, and (b) it was a throwback to the (approximately) machine my mom was given (used) as a wedding gift in 1940...that I learned to sew on. Figure if I decide not to keep it, I can probably unload it to the sewing machine guy who recycles those things on a regular basis for what I have in it (or thereabouts). Not like I needed another sewing machine (this is #5!), but, like old cars, quilters and seamstresses can't get enough of these things!! LOL

Hey, Jet....look the Chmerkovskiys must be passing around the "grandma's cardigan sweater" again. See it at the neckline and hanging down below his jacket. Not a brace.
