Well we finally got to see "Little Maks" this morning....what do you all think of the little one??? I still applaud Maks and Peta for not wanting to make a public display of their child. I wonder now with them being new parents will either of both of them return to DWTS???? And if you watched the video Peta was talking about the wedding and said it would be a 3 day event with 300 people...WOW...glad I am not planning that!!!
Well it is time to head out for now...but first...
April...so glad you and NIecey are home and I pray that all is progressing as it is suppose to...
Jet...did you ever decide what project you would start next??? I remember you were undecided?

Vmmm...have you had to dig out of the snow there? How is school going and how is the robotics club doing?
KOS...haven't heard from you in a while...hope you are doing well. Stop by and say hi!!

Have a Fantastic Friday Everyone...see you later !!!!Hi, CEK....my "new" projects are actually UFO's (UnFinished Objects) that have been hanging around or buried somewhere!! Have made progress on a couple and completed one (well, finished piecing it and have it ready to start quilting). Most of them are fairly small (wall hanging size) but that's ok! There are some pillow sham UFOs (to go with bed quilts) still hanging around that I hope to complete as well--before I get nuts again and start something new!!! LOL.
I didn't see GMA but looked at some of the photos/articles. I think Maksito has Peta's mouth/lips.I have so many UFO's things that I need to finish...I am trying to start some of them now, hopefully I will get on a roll and get some of them hopefully complete...Do we ever get them all finished??? Oh wouldn't that be wonderful!!! LOL
If you count embroidery that I've finished but haven't made into a quilt or frames, Ithere are a few more UFOs than I've counted!! I'm pretty good about finishing quilts. There are only a couple that I've set aside and need to get back to or move forward. Too easy to start....much harder to finish!
Oh---there is what I call my "perennially unfinished Christmas tree skirt"!! It is the 12 days of Christmas in cross-stitch. I've completed all the cross-stitch but have only put 8 of them onto the skirt background. It's easier to turn the skirt around so the unfinished part doesn't show than it is to finish it!!! LOL. Been using if for YEARS and every year I swear that I need to finish it!!! LOL. One day I think I will!!!

He does favor Peta a lot I think!!!
I'd like to know what his birth statistics were....weight and length. He looks to be pretty good sized already.

Just baked a Bundt carrot cake from scratch (needed to use up a few carrots!). I used apple sauce instead of oil, and put cream cheese filling in the middle. We'll see how it tastes tonite when a friend whose birthday was the 15th is coming for dinner!
I love carrot cake...My MIL makes one that is yummy...I may have to make one now especially since my MIL isn't here anymore and it is to far to run to Florida to get one...LOL
The carrot cake experiment, if you will, tastes nice! It has cream cheese icing with walnuts sprinkled on top. Sent some of it home with my friend (who had the birthday). She is a widow so lives alone with her 2 dogs and a bird!!! LOL
The carrot cake sounds fabulous. That was my husband's favorite; my daughter's was Italian Cream Cake.
