IdkLove this Val more so than ranting WTF you talking about Val. LOLBoy no longer seems angry. Fiesty/reflective/preachy yes, but angry & confrontational no. When the sass returns, then all will be as it was before. LOL Maybe this vacay did him a world of good.Maybe being an uncle is bringing out the best in him.
I just think Val likes to bloviate and when he does, sometimes he gets a little stupid..and other times he can be reasonably profound! He needs to learn to step back or sleep on it overnite and let the emotion of the moment pass so he can respond rationally and thoughtfully rather than with a knee jerk and offensive blow out when something hypes him up. Everything is so permanent these days....on SM or TV....that it is easy to be perceived as contradictory or a jerk when you don't need to do that! Get the emotion under control and think before you spout, I tell my kids!! You can't unring the bell....and it is far easier not to create the undesirable image than it is to undo it....especially when you are highly visible or putting yourself out there.
Just 2 cents from JetmamaDiDi!!

Have a wonderful day everyone...see you in a bit!!!!It's one of my biggest fault too! My grandmother used to say, "It's the things we worry about that don't happen. That must have made a big impression on me!
In Biblical lingo, it's "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
It is hard not to do....especially at night when situations seem more magnified. But I saw a great statement once, usually attributed to Robert Downey, Jr.

MCM I have become enchanted with Timothy Olyphant. For all I know, the rest of you became fans long ago. I have become a fan not just because I have a couple of his movies, but because he is clearly committed to his wife and family. I have not watched Justified or Deadwood. I did not see the last of the Die Hard movies in which he was the bad guy or Scream 2 (By the way Wes Craven was a classmate of mine at Wheaton College). But I did happen to watch "Catch and Release" with Jennifer Garner and then looked to see what else was on You Tube featuring Timothy Olyphant. And what I watched is lots of his interivews. He is hilarious on talk show interivews. So I am posting the links to five of them. I am usually writing about such serious matters. He was a champion swimmer during his college days at USC, married his college sweetheart and is still married to her. And he is currently starring, with Drew Barrymore, in the original Netflix comedy, The Santa Clarita Diet." Be prepared for lots of laughing.

I think I am becoming enchanted myself. I can't say I have seen him in any movies or tv shows, but what a handsome, personable guy.

Worry actually is an evil when you think about it....
