Before heading to bed, I was thinking of all the snow in the CA mountains so thought I would post a few stunning photos of a couple of our favorite winter (or summer) destinations.
CEDAR BREAKS, UTAH (Behind Brian Head atop the mountain near Panguitch, UT--a little north of Cedar City along the western side of Utah north of St. George and Las Vegas)
We have gone snow mobiling a couple of times up there--out to Cedar Breaks, which is a national monument....a lot of fun and spectacular in winter!
Crazy skier in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of CA--particularly beautiful in powder.

Did I say this already? Sometimes I get confused what I have shared with my family group on email, and what I have posted here. lol...losing it.
Haven't heard that any sisters or their families are sick with influenza. Hope not, but it's pretty wide spread this year.
That youngest granddaughter is coughing and has a slight temperature. But how to tell if it's a cold, bronchitis or influenza. Not a high fever. No aches and discomfort of that nature. So probably just a cold.
I, and family are sick now. Like you, I am not sure if it is a severe cold or what. Very tired and ache, so I am worried it may be flu

In Biblical lingo, it's "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."Worry actually is an evil when you think about it....
I agree, CEk....worry is a useless process in most cases because we usually worry over things we cannot control. I've come to appreciate how very few things we are able to control in life...although it is difficult not to worry about those you care about and are close to....particularly when they are ill or in potential danger. But that is really the point of this Bible phrase: don't worry about tomorrow because there are enough things to work out in the present moment.
I too have gotten better about worry with age...not that I don't worry about family and friends but I have slowed down worrying about the trivial things that I have no control over...that isn't to say that I have stopped completely because I haven't but I am trying and when you have done it since your youth and you are in your 60's well it is a hard thing to change. My old family doctor (he has since moved away now) told me one time that "worry" could slowly take your life away faster than illness because it just drains your body, mind and soul...I tend to believe that is true, because it consumes your life it you let it!!!
How true is the quote that there are so many things today to work on that you tomorrow should have to wait....my hubby tells me that "I am borrowing trouble" when I worry about things that have not come to pass yet...I know it is all true but just so hard to stop....

I think I am becoming enchanted myself. I can't say I have seen him in any movies or tv shows, but what a handsome, personable guy.I must agree, he is quite handsome...I will have to look up one of his movies and watch it...
I looked hi up on wikipedia and his resume is very impressive. I've not heard of him nor seen him in any films or shows that I"m aware of....but I agree he is nice looking and would seem to be well grounded. I will check out the youtube videos when I have a couple minutes to enjoy them.
I may have to do that too!!!
