Dear Luv,
Hope you and your family recover quickly!! We think granddaughter is just a bad cold. I read that the runny, stuffy nose, slight fever, cough etc. is less likely to be influenza...and that is her. Tomorrow she competes in our county's Spelling Bee!! and wants to feel her best, so they kept her home today to rest up a little more. Dont expect her to advance too far in the Bee since she (5th grade) is up against 6th, 7th and 8th graders. But was an honor and accomplishment to win her school's Bee.
This is for you...

Had to sign for something at the door so I got distracted....but I had problems signing on also....and no connection thing off and on. I usually just hit refresh and it will come on.
I see you are offline now. I will reply to your email, which I did see after getting on here.

I agree, CEk....worry is a useless process in most cases because we usually worry over things we cannot control. I've come to appreciate how very few things we are able to control in life...although it is difficult not to worry about those you care about and are close to....particularly when they are ill or in potential danger. But that is really the point of this Bible phrase: don't worry about tomorrow because there are enough things to work out in the present moment.I too have gotten better about worry with age...not that I don't worry about family and friends but I have slowed down worrying about the trivial things that I have no control over...that isn't to say that I have stopped completely because I haven't but I am trying and when you have done it since your youth and you are in your 60's well it is a hard thing to change. My old family doctor (he has since moved away now) told me one time that "worry" could slowly take your life away faster than illness because it just drains your body, mind and soul...I tend to believe that is true, because it consumes your life it you let it!!!
How true is the quote that there are so many things today to work on that you tomorrow should have to wait....my hubby tells me that "I am borrowing trouble" when I worry about things that have not come to pass yet...I know it is all true but just so hard to stop....
Wise doctor was he who told you that worry could take away your love of living. Good advice! It has been shown that happy people tend to live longer than those whose "glass is half full" so to speak.
OK--TIME FOR A HAPPY DANCE!
DON'T WORRY......BE HAPPY!!!

Wow...this is news...
Peta Murgatroyd And Maks Chmerkovksiy Returning To Dancing With The Stars Season 24
Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy were on Good Morning America today. They had a special announcement for Dancing With The Stars Season 24. Guess what? They are both coming back as Pros. Let us know what you think in comments. So exciting. Thanks to @Idolxfactor for the heads up and help today. Video coming up.
Murgatroyd’s motivation is two-fold. “I want to get my body back,” admits the 5-foot-7 pro. “And I want to defend my title. I won two seasons ago and never got to come back.” (Chmerkovskiy welcomes the challenge, telling Us, “I just want to support her and at the same time, maybe have some healthy competition in the family.”)
And though dancing, running and weight training have helped Murgatroyd shed most of her baby weight (“I think I’m kind of halfway there,” she says), one thing does make her nervous about slipping back into her old skimpy costumes. “I’m not looking forward to having huge boobs on the show,” admits the breastfeeding star. “I’ve never had massive knockers before and I don’t really know how we’ll tie them down! I actually contacted the costume designer and said, ‘We need to have a meeting about this!’”
For more on her and Chmerkovskiy’s return to the ballroom — and how they’re handling life as new parents — pick up the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now!

I find this hilarious!!!! Who said Maks was "never, never, never...no way...." coming back to DWTS in Season 24??!!!! Oh.....I THINK IT WAS MAKS!!!!!!!!😂😂😛. Further proof that he says contradictory things about as often as he changes.....well....underwear?! (That may not be the best metaphor, as I can think of for him, tho

!! LOL. LOL). But this explains the nanny and the LA trip!!! I guess (grand)MamaC didn't want full custody for 3 months!! I'm sure they will take BabyC and nanny to the studio every day so we should get a plethora of photos!!

. Paps will have a field day!
I too find it quite funny that Maks is especially coming back...wasn't it him that said he wanted to be a stay at home dad and have Peta go back to the dance floor...Hmmmmm
You are right that the paps are going to go nuts should the baby be at the studio during the show and during rehearsals ....

I agree with you on both accounts Jet!!! my daughter did the black hair thing and she has lovely medium brown with red highlights...she looked so different and it was way to dark for her and she actually couldn't wait for it to grow out...

What a contradiction these two are!!! LOL. Of course, I think that together they can make a minimum of about $300k for 3 months work, so that isn't too shabby!! I'd like to have that sort of income for the whole year.....or even half of it!!! LOL
I am beginning to realize (took long enough!) that you can't bank on anything Maks or Val says because they contradict themselves literally from one minute to the next sometimes!! LOL. I will say, I think Peta may really miss LA since this is really her "American" home. I remember a tweet in December where she said she thot she could never get used to a white Christmas.
I wonder if Val will be bunking with them....and the nanny?!!! LOL
