Re: Maks Is Back! Season 23

What the heck just happened....

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Kos....what just happen...did someone run out on the floor?

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

No kidding....but swimmers are superstitious like many athletes.

I think they didn't do that badly.

True...I thought is was not bad either...

He is a handsome young man...I agree about the hair...The Olympics were just a bad time for him...

Thing is, it wasn't his first Olympics, so he didn't set the example he could and should have...but he deserves to have a chance to redeem himself.  And it is tough to go from top to bottom when you are, literally, a duck out of water....so I applaud him for taking the chance and putting himself out there.  Hopefully he will be better next week.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Maks and Amber were just in the Skybox.  Lots of talk about how Amber did not want rhinestones and fringe and she is having to adjust.  She felt badly about not doing as well as she had hoped to do.

These two will be interesting to watch.  The heat is off Maks to win since he has done it once....so he really doesn't have anything to prove now.

I agree with you Jet...he made a mistake, it's done so he has to move on with the results of his actions and I hope he can do right by himself...

They didn't get great comments.  I predict scores in the 21-24 range.
