    Hey, April.....I think we should eat PIE!!!

    Niecey has good taste because blueberry pie is one of my (many!) ultimate favorites!!  I also love pumpkin and apricot...and rhubarb....and fresh peach and fresh strawberry!!!  LOL. If I have to pick one....it is just TOO HARD!!  I also like coconut cream, but it is pretty rich!!!  LOL

    Oh, pie, oh, pie!! Too many choices....and too many calories!!  LOL. But TOO GOOD!!!   HAPPY PI(E) DAY!!!!

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

    Well, it seems that perhaps the behemoth snow storm has become a bit wimpy?  Let's hope!!  Can't help loving that the weather guessers blow this stuff up and Mother Nature is just so unpredictable!!!  LOL

    Happy Pi Day! D2 is bummed to not be able to wear her new pi shirt to school today (although she is definitely enjoying the day off). The wind is whipping around out there. I'm afraid we may lose power. Stay warm, everyone.

    I love pie.  More than cake, bars, cookies, etc.  
    But this little discussion reminded me of a funny back and forth with my new husband (#1) back when I was newly married...19 years old.

    I had been brought up among good cooks, excellent bakers, and so I had started experimenting with pies and cakes. Oh, my!! there are a few stories there, but on to this one.

    So I said one day.  "what's your favorite pie...which do you like best?"  thinking that if I were to spend time, effort, ingredients, it should be something he'd really appreciate.

    He (21 years old) thought about it a while.

                                                       1. Your mother's apple pie
                                                       2. Blueberry
                                                       3. Your apple pie

    !!!
