Would you like to know what Simone Biles is like to work with on Dancing With The Stars? In a PureDWTS Exclusive interview, Dancing With The Stars Pro, Sasha Farber, tells us all about his new partner and why he’s looking forward to this season. Yeah…and uhhh..watch out for some pranking too. Here’s more with Sasha and we couldn’t thank him enough for taking a time out for us and a few questions from fans. With that said, don’t forget to VOTE VOTE VOTE for #TeamGoldenGiggles!!!
Narice: Other than the freestyle, what dance are you most looking forward to dance with Simone this season? Is there a theme you love the most too?
Great question, Simone and myself have been having so much fun, that any dance with her will be my favorite. Im looking forward to Disney week, I always love that week, and it’s always so magical in the ballroom. 😄
Chayse: Last season was your best finish on the show. As you start to advance to the later stages of the competition, are you picking up tricks and strategies to keep you and your partner physically and mentally healthy?
Yes it’s very important to stay healthy and to make sure your celebrity enjoys herself every week, this show is in its 24th season , so it’s important for me to always keep it fresh and exciting , so I’m always trying to do different tricks, tricks that haven’t been done on the show yet …
Lori: Have you started the pranks yet? And has Simone pranked you back?
No pranks yet but I promise there will be. 🙂 🙂
Princess Heidi: There have been other Olympic Gymnasts on DWTS over the years, and they seem to be able to do a lot of things. But this year, you’re up against some serious competition in Heather and Normani. So, do you have a strategy? Go big or go home?? And would you emulate Derek, Mark or Val in terms of choreographing for an Olympic Gymnast?? I’m hoping the former – put it all out there, Sasha!!
Yes the competition this season is so high everyone is AMAZING, this show is all about growing as a person and telling the people at home your story through dance week in, week out, so we haven’t really been thinking about other couples, I just want Simone to have the best experience and have memories of being on dwts for the rest of her life…And Derek Mark and Val are all great at what they do. I’ve never had a gymnast so I’ll be trying lots of cool new trick that I’m very excited about 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Vogue: In pics and videos, Simone seems like pure joy and her smile is infectious. Is this true and if you were to describe her in three words, what words would you use? Also, any costume or song hints for your first dance (you know me, I had to ask. lol)?
Yes Simone is an absolute pleasure to work with, her giggle is just amazing I could listen to it all day. We have a lot of fun at our rehearsals, I’ve definitely made a friend for life. To describe Simone in three words hmmmmm, Fun, Energetic , powerful!
I can’t give to much away with songs and dance, but I’m very excited to be partnered with Simone we are having a ball, and i can’t wait for America to see Simone dance.
Thanks guys I love you all tune in on September 20th for the premier of Dwts.

Heather Morris And Maks Chmerkovskiy DWTS Season 24 Rehearsal Photos, Comments On The Competition
If you go to E Online, you can see some beautiful shots of Heather Morris and Maks Chmerkovskiy rehearsing for their debut on Dancing With the Stars. Below is some comments from them too.
But even with her impressive dance experience, Heather admitted to E! News, “I’m nervous about the live audience…I’m just not totally used to it.”
As for Maks, he was quick to sound off on the couple possible having an advantage in the competition, with the new dad saying, “To say that we just have this massive advantage, I think so, but I don’t think we’re the only ones that could pull off beautiful, beautiful numbers. I’m ready for us to be scrutinized a little different and judged a little different and rightfully so, we’ll do our best.”
ETA: Maks also talked with Entertainment Tonight about Peta. More at the link and on ET on TV Wednesday!
As fans of the couple know, the two welcomed their first child, son Shai, in January. Since then, Murgatroyd hasn’t been shy about documenting her journey to shedding the baby weight via social media, and will be taking the stage with Bachelor star Nick Viall when the new season premieres on ABC on Monday, March 20. Yes, just two months after giving birth, the blond beauty is back to work!
“It’s insane, it’s insane,” Chmerkovskiy told ET’s Cameron Mathison. “I’m not a good enough spokesperson to explain this, this process, but it’s — my hats off [to her] is an understatement.”
“It’s fun! We get to dance for a living, it’s amazing,” he continued. “But Peta has a much harder job than I do. Because she’s a mom. What women go through with pregnancy — [is crazy].”
Luckily, they have a wonderful nanny who takes care of Shai while the two are busy performing and in rehearsals.
“She knows what she’s doing, and yeah, no, we trust her,” the father of one joked. “But it’s amazing. I met her kids. It’s just something that I can’t wait for ours to be [13 months, like Heather’s] youngest age. He just walks around doing his things, pulling on some plants, keeps hitting his head everywhere, just smiles through it.”

EXCLUSIVE: Maksim Chmerkovskiy Praises Peta Murgatroyd for Returning to 'DWTS' 2 Months After Giving Birth
Plus, hear whether the 37-year-old dancer would like his mini-me to follow in his footsteps one day!
Maksim Chmerkovskiy has a lot of respect for his hardworking fiancée, Peta Murgatroyd!
ET caught up with the 37-year-old dancer during a Dancing With the Stars rehearsal with his season 24 partner, Heather Morris, on Tuesday in North Hollywood, California, where he couldn’t stop gushing over Murgatroyd’s work ethic.
“I’m not a good enough spokesperson to explain this, this process, but it’s – my hats off [to her] is an understatement.”
“It’s fun! We get to dance for a living, it’s amazing,” he continued. “But Peta has a much harder job than I do. Because she’s a mom. What women go through with pregnancy – [is crazy].”
"I’m excited for that period of time,” he added. “I don’t know when that happens, but it’s different. He’ll say something at six months or whatever, hopefully, and then that’s it.”
As for whether Shai will follow in his parents’ footsteps and be a dancer someday?
“Hopefully not,” Chmerkovskiy joked, adding, “What if he’s like 10 and he’s like, "I want to be a doctor and not on the cover of a magazine.’”
“True reality is that we share maybe one, two percent, you know?” he continued on his and Murgatroyd’s decision to keep what they share about their newborn to a minimum. “There’s just so much stuff that we’re keeping to ourselves.”
To hear more from Chmerkovskiy’s interview, tune into Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday!
