Good almost afternoon sisters...
Hope everyone's holiday weekend is going well. Sunny and hot here today with an 80% chance of thunderstorms this evening...isn't that a surprise...LOL
Well I must say that my grandson Kaleb is full of questions and surprises...he wanted to know exactly what we were celebrating for Memorial Day...my DIL continued to ask all the questions that he had and proceeded to tell him about a good friend of hers that lost his life to protect us during his service. He was in his 20's and expecting a son that he never got to see...My DIL said you could see the expression drain from his face and he said mama that is so sad, the little boy will never see his daddy...then he said well I guess it isn't about cooking on the grill is it...I am proud of my son and DIL teaching my grandchildren how lucky we are to live in the USA and the what is has cost so many to give us this freedom.
Well I am going to see what is out there for us to read, then it is off to lunch with my daughter and her family as they are leaving to head back to DC with a stop at Bush Gardens Williamsburg on the way...
