Ok here is my take on the dancing experience from the stars this season.... 

We all know Heather has a lot of "dance" experience and can sing.  She was on a popular tv show and has performed with a major music figure.  Then she has Maks as her coach and eveyone loves Maks and he is a good teacher.  I think a lot of people are wondering how fatherhood has changed him as a person and teacher too...

Simone an athlete and Olympic champion and has experience with doing a routine, perfecting it under terrible pressure..she has the knowledge of how to hold her hands and her body and connect with the audience.  

Bonner has no experience at all...he has experience with is performing in front of an audience...being able to calculate moves and timing and he does yoga and he is strong. I think they will the the "showmance" couple of the season...

Charo...well she can shake and shimmy so we will leave it at that ...she also has nice legs for her age what ever that maybe.  

Erika has singing and performing experience and has done a music video, so she has preforming down, other than that I don't know anything about her...She has Gleb as a partner and he is a cutie so that is always a plus!!!

Rashad is an athlete so he has endurance and performing for a crowd under his belt and he is most likely strong. You know the fans love their athletes.  

Chris Kattan, well if you call Manto Tango (his character on SNL) a dancer then he has experience...LOL  but he is funny and can preform and SNL cast members have a fan base, so we will see!!

Nancy Kerrigan...She is a figure skater so she has the performance under extremem pressure and being able to remember a routine down...to me she is one of the only ones that has that grace that figure skaters have that mirrors the grace that Ballroom Dancers tend to have, and Artem is a good teacher.  

Normani has Val as a partner (that is a plus for anyone) and she is a performer and singer so she is comfortable before large crowds. I have never seen her and her group perform so I am not familiar with them or her, but from some of the videos of them rehearsing she can shake and move.

Mr. T...what can you say about him he says he can't dance but he is an actor and he is apparently well liked and everyone is glad to see Kym back on the dance floor so lets see where he will go. I am sure Robert will be at the show too and everyone loves Robert and Kym!!

David Ross...another athlete and the first MLB player to be on the show...and Lindsay is a good teacher and I am sure that he has a huge following...Heck wasn't Mr. T wearing a Cubs jersey one one of his interviews...

Nick...He has to my knowledge no dance experience I don't think he was well liked on the  Bachelor from what I have read...I never watched it with him on it so I don't know but I did hear him say this was his third time on the show...Hmmmm  and with Peta back and everyone wanting to see her and Maks back on the show wonder if her fans will keep them afloat...

So I may have to change some of my predictions after seeing the show Monday night...All the dancing and preforming and athletic ability can be a plus but it is not "Ballroom Dancing" with all it technique, form, musicallity (sp) and the connection between the two people like (Meryl and Maks, Sharna and James) but from watching the show all these seasons it is not always the ability and the dancing ability that keep the couples on the show...Remember Shawn Johnson, Charlie White, Nyle Demarco and many others we thought would win...

So we will have to wait and how all the experience they have is an advantage for them....
