Good Morning on the Sunday the eve of Season 24 of DWTS....I would love to be there right now...It is sunny and warm there cause it is rainy, chilly and dreary here today....

I was so sad to see that I had missed a little chatting last night on the board...So good to see April on last night..Glad that Jet is having a nice visit to the east coast and Annie and Gabriele was able to chat for a while with them...

I was doing a little "family research" on Ancestry.com for my maternal grandmothers family in England.  It is hard being in one country and trying to find out about things in another.  So many of the records for my grandmothers family were destroyed during the war, but I have found some things and hopefully will continue to.

Do any of you watch "Who Do You Think You Are"???  I had no idea it was back on for a new season but this will be week three.  Thank goodness my DVR was recording it.

Well I see that several of the sisters are unexpectedly excited, as myself included, for the new season to start.  I am very undecided as who to pick for the "trifecta" and really any of the guesses before the first show cause there are several of the couples that have the potential to go the distance, but you never ever know with this show...

So let me see if I can find any "pre show" news to post...

I had no idea either!!  Love that show.  I'll watch tonight, and can catch the earlier episodes on line.

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Ditto here...   the guy is so gentlemanly.  Is that the typical Southerner's mannerism?  I wouldn't know enough and not personal to be able to say.  I have a feeling that Heather will be thrown under the bus at some stage, a bit like Marilu/Derek.  A few unfavourable packages and ....   It looks like her professional background isn't going to be forgotten easily.  I'm also not sure it compares to any other celebrity, like some say.  Dance was/is her bread and butter;  the background of other ringers didn't seem to be quite at that level from what I'm reading.

Yep, most Southern guys are like Bonner.  Gleb is my fave but I'm concerned about his partner. I think she'll lose votes for him even if she is a fabulous dancer (and I'm not sure she is). I'm surely not shipping them!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know the least about her, Annie.  But I didn't mind her at all from what I've seen in interviews/soundbites.  My feeling is that ultimately she might be more likable than a couple of other female contestants.

I hope you are right!

Re: SEASON 24 is knocking at our door...

Afternoon Sisters...
Well you have to love the weather in VA...it was raining when I got up, then about 10 am it started to snow and it was quite chilly outside.  Snowed for about an hour or so (didn't stick really) then it stopped snowing and raining and it was windy and quite chilly.  Now the sun is shining between the clouds and it is 10 degress warmer than it was earlier...Like they say here "if you don't like the weather just hang around and it will change soon enought"...LOL

Hope everyone is having a really good day today.  I made a pot of chili and will cook some rice to go with it.  That is how my family like it.  May make some cheese biscuits but not sure.

Well I have just realized that of all days tomorrow is my son and DIL's wedding anniversary and we always go out to eat as a family for those occasions.  So I may be late for tomorrow nights show (which I am not happy about) but Kaleb and his sisters informed me that I have to go.  We are meeting a 6 so I am in hopes we will be out and home by 8....

March 19, 2017 latergram.
Meryl spent sometime in NYC on a photo shoot with popsugar last week and has shared one of her new eatery finds. Here are a few pictures of the inside of the restaurant and some of the food available for a late lunch. The cocktail looks scrumptious, the dessert delectable, and the fish perfectly grilled.
